When I hooked up my LC2i I tapped into the wires under the driver's seat by the factory amp. I think I tapped into the rear speakers. I never had any problems with signal.
Yeah, I see Waterfowler41 used those in his truck. They look pretty good. I just like the round ones a little better but might be changing them if I continue to have this problem. I messed around with the relay/wiring and now the lights are staying on with no blinking. So, I'll give it some time...
I just tapped into it and used the factory amp for all the other speakers in the truck, till this year when I upgraded everything (amps/speakers). Pulled out the factory amp and replaced it with a JL Audio VX800/8i.
I never noticed any difference when I removed the ANC in my truck. But I have a Rebel and I'm sure it's noisier than the regular trucks. Disconnect it and drive around and see if you can tell the difference.
Brunzca is completely correct. That is your best bet. 1st thing I did on mine after buying truck was pull stock sub and installed amp and JL sub, kept it that way for years and them finally upgraded everything this year. I did research for months before I changed everything out. I ended up going...
When I had my Lc2i in my truck (w/Alpine system) I didn't tap into the APH CH03 harness, I either tapped into the front or rear door speakers by the factory amp under the driver's seat. I can't remember for sure now. Never had any feedback problems. Last year I pulled it and upgraded all the...
No problem. Yeah, these new vehicles don't make it easy to upgrade. To do anything is a pain.
I didn't want to run new speaker wires to all the speakers, so I just tied into everything under the driver's seat like they did. Made it a lot easier, and it's all plug and play. You don't have to...
This helped me out a lot when I updated my Alpine system. I just did almost the same and upgraded to a JL800/8i for all the speakers. Still fine tuning it with the built-in DSP but sounds better than the stock system.
This company makes a kit for our trucks. Was thinking about upgrading to them but my brakes are still good at 80k, so I'm waiting till I need to replace. Email them if you have any questions. They will send you a wheel fitment PDF so you can check if the kit will clear your wheels...
I had a Kicker 11HS8 powered sub in my Rebel but took it out. Not enough bass for me. Had it in for a year then built a custom 10" enclosure. It only fits under the rear seat, not enough room under the front seats.
