^^ this. I always figured about 1000miles/gallon. IIRC, I used to get about 1200mi/gal, but I drove a ton of freeway miles. Towing will cut those numbers roughly in half.
In my experience... inaccurate gauges, Highly unlikely you broke something. I learned to not pay too close attention my my gauge reading and just wait for the low DEF warning, which gives you PLENTY of time to refill.
Disagree. Had you done any research (such as reading this entire thread for example) you'd seeSnowBlzr2 is a member in good standing of this forum and is/was an active contributor with plenty of valuable information for those towing with a Ram 1500. That he recently switched to a Ford doesn't...
Well, evidently I was alone in my loss of LKA ( a good thing!)...HOWEVER...it started working again, though it seems less aggressive than normal. I'll keep monitoring.
Hey folks. As stated, my LKA just quit. I can cycle the button to on or off and get the corresponding message on the cluster, but it simply doesn't work. No other indications/lights/warnings/CEL, etc. Anyone with such experience, or any ideas?
TireRack shows excellent reviews, including road noise, for the Continental TerrainContact AT. Likely these will be my next set. https://www.tirerack.com/tires/continental-terraincontact-a-t
Back in my ecoDiesel days I dealt with them directly at their shop in Michigan on multiple visits. They are a very nice group of guys, and super accomodating. That said, they are BUSY, so at times they can be a bit slow to respond, especially via email, but end of the day I trusted them...
Totally fine in AUTO mode. My truck did not come with locking rear diff so I often use 4WD Auto when I need to aggressively get going from a stop. I'm at 130K and no issues.
Yes, because the filter is part of the pan itself. You can either replace with an OEM style or get a PPE pan with a replaceable filter. I did PPE because I'm hoping to keep this truck for lots of miles.
@dlakeman FYI, your insurance company would probably cover the incident...BUT they would very likely then drop you like a hot potato and you may be looking at High Risk insurance rates...if you can find it at all. You're smart to err on the side of caution.
