Just an FYI about the Hellwig site. As an example, the rear sway bar 7709 says "09-22 Ram 1500". Click on the "Show Vehicle Fitment" link and it'll state "2011-2024 Ram 1500". Probably best to just call and confirm.
I average anywhere between 14.5 to 16.2 mpg's around here (Florida Space Coast) according to the truck's indicator. We took a road trip to Kentucky last year and it was getting real close to 21 mpg (verified by my gas receipts and some cypherin'). Thought it would've been worse with all the...
Got the replacement USB for the map update today. 30 minute install? 🤣 Took an hour and six minutes from where it had stopped at 10% previously to completion. The whole time it said twenty four minutes remaining. Looks like it worked though so... 🤷♂️
Swapped out the OE battery after I had to NocoBoost the truck about a half hour ago. Luckily it was in my driveway and I had the AGM I bought a couple months ago in the garage ready to go (four and a half years on the original was beginning to make me a little nervous).
Ordered the software and map update since I haven't seen any OTA updates... and figured WTH since it was "on sale". Software install was smooth but the map update stops at 10% and then eventually gives an "update failed" message. Tried 5 times with the same results. Kind of expected it though...
Well, it lasted a little over three years. We're having our first big thunderstorm of the year and the rear window is leaking at the upper corners again, same as the first time... no visible cracks. I'll be taking it in Monday to get it scheduled to see if they'll honor TSB 23-098-23.
I've used AVS in channel vent visors on most of my previous rides, and they've been great, which is why I got them for the Ram. Not so great this time as they began bowing inwards in the middle. Not a big enough deal to replace them yet, but still a bit disappointing.
We recently acquired two American Bull Dog/Mountain Cur puppies and they get car sick. Usually at the end of the trip when we're about to pull into the driveway... 😒
Tried this hard bottom rear seat hammock, but they could get over the screen into the front when they really tried, which wasn't...
Dropped off @ 0730 and picked up @ 1600 yesterday. Total out of pocket was $386. Happy with the results and no squeaks or rattles. Let's just see how long this one lasts now...
Bubbled dash:
New dash:
Invoice:
5 months of Big Stella being an absolute ****, but I finally have an appointment to get the dash done this Tuesday. Ended up where I'll pay about tree fiddy as a "deductible".
Little things. Finally "fixed" the passenger side visor with a cheapo Amazon repair kit, replaced the Lock'er Down safe battery, reformatted the dash cam card and quick washed all the gawdawful bird :poop: off from today's WalMart run (no more parking under their trees).
