Dealer said mine NADA currently books for $50500-$55300 with average of $52932 but estimated $48000 at10 week delivery.
Unfortunately salesman said once order placed you cannot back out without loosing deposit. Maybe that's just this dealer?
Did a potential build on a 2021 Limited 4wd today with 3:21 rear & Electronic Locking Rear. Not seeing the ELR on any existing inventory i9n 250 miles made me question the choice.
I might be tempted to go along with that scenario. Biggest problem is my trade is potentially worth $5-6000 more today than the they estimate it could be in 10 weeks....
Did that build thing today at local dealer. But I'm being ask to place a non-refundable deposit on a truck the cost of which cannot be accurately determined at order. My trade value at the estimated delivery, 8-10 weeks, & the rebates, discounts, etc available at delivery are subject to change...
As I have searched within a 250 mile radius repeatedly & at best found only a 19 of 30 option match, I went today to my closest dealer & got assistance building the Ram Limited I would like. Problem is, #1) I'm trading in a 2018 Ram 2500HD Laramie 4wd Diesel with 35k & the estimated value is...

I live in Palm Bay Florida & try as I might, reaching out 250 miles, in inventory Rams with 3:21 gears are like hens teeth. Gotta wonder why....not everyone tows something that heavy that often.
Preparing to order a 2021 Limited & debating gear choice. As I will spend more time not pulling anything than doing so, it seems only economically logical to opt for the 3:21 rear end. I question my thinking when I observe the majority of existing inventory on dealers lots have the 3:92 gears...
As I am preparing to order a 2021 Limited & the 22" wheels are in a package I want, except that item, I am wondering if you can delete that single item & get the 20" rims & perhaps even a few dollars off?
Was all ready to buy a Rebel for the looks but living in Florida the unavailability of vented seats are just a deal breaker. Looks like I'll go with another Laramie. Darn!
