So I just happened across this nice shot from the Ram Lovers FB page:
I am partial to the Granite Crystal color, but more importantly, it's a great angle to see that wide-body stance! *Drool*
From this angle, I think that the painted trim (under the headlight and above the bumper) might be...
That was my initial thinking as well (on both accounts). ;) I figured I could at least get the conversation started as we sit and wait. Worst that could happen is that we just make ourselves more impatient while we wait. However, on the other end of the spectrum, the aftermarket community...
I never noticed that before (good eye), but hopefully that's only an issue with the brow trim and not for the grill itself.
There is definitely a chance that the TRX grill won't fit under the Limited/Longhorn style brow trim. Orginally I was only concerned about it not working with the bumper...
It's probably too early to ask, but does anyone have a part number for the TRX grill yet? I love how it's similar to the Rebel, but a little sleeker at the same time. I have a feeling it won't fit perfectly (just like a Rebel's grill doesn't exactly fit the Laramie's/Bighorns), but I'd love to...
Funny I just ordered a Tazer and it'll be here next week. How would we get the codes for them? It doesn't seem like the Tazer is meant to create logs or display anything.
Overalls, I barely have any now (just a tiny trickle down the edge of the tailgate). Its far less than on my old Tacoma even after using silicone! Lol
It leaks a lot less than a Retrax I helped install on a 4th gen last year. It may have helped that I've installed a few tonneaus and knew...
Only option I wanted that I didn't get was the 33 gal tank (was hard to find nearby). 90% of my driving = no regrets (daily driving), but after taking a 200 mile trip towing our new travel trailer, I can tell that longer road trips are going to come with many stops because of that smaller tank.
I just got the Backflip Revolver X4. I like that's it's a hard cover, but it's a roll-up style so I get basically full access to the bed. I also like that it doesn't have a lock. I don't want an extra key to deal with (which my wife would forget use anyways).
I had the Revolver X2 on a...
Right on! Sounds like you'll be good to go.
Since I have a Limited, it already has the self-adjusting airbags. They did a great job because it got it level within seconds. Of course, it auto adjusted some more after the weight was distributed (once the bars were on).
My next purchase...
I'm still basically stock, but I did add a wireless TPMS to the TT along with a wireless camera on the rear of the trailer.
I put the camera display up on the dash. After I formed the metal to fit into the dash tray, it sat there without issue...but I did add velcro to make sure it doesn't...
If you plan to tow, I'd get the 3.92 gears. I was on the fence about it, but now that I have it, I'm super glad the truck I found had it The lower 1st gear allows you to move the trailer in finer increments...not to mention the quicker acceleration is certainly worth it. :)
One thing I...
Got the front windows tinted to match the rear. So much better!!
Also got a screen protector for the 12" uConnect and pocket fillers in the bed (in prep for my tonneau that is on it's way).
We bought our first accessory for the new truck this past week.
After week of driving so I can meet the recommended break-in period of 500 miles (before you should tow), I drove home with our new 29' bunkhouse Travel Trailer!!
Between 5.7L Hemi, the 3.92 gear, and the airbag suspension, the...
Thanks. I updated my sig with the few details I have right now. I'm getting into the Tazer DT group buy so I can start adding to my signature soon. :)
I must add that the sound of the 5.7L Hemi is amazing!!! I can't stop giggling every time I walk up to the truck or lay into the gas pedal.
