Agreed. After looking at current wire diagrams, I do not believe any model Speedturtle will work until they make one for these. However, the SGM is still behind the knee bolster, just not exactly where it was. Lol.
As punishment, I’ll spend the rest of my day studying these horrible diagrams...
Looks like a mouse got into the fuel injector pigtail. Dodge does list a pigtail repair kit for these. I keep a pile of old harnesses from the years under my toolbox for just this case. I’d put a new terminal and wire on that one side if it were my truck. The rodents love the soy based wiring...
More than likely still learning some shift adaptives. I have had a few valve body issues and internal snap ring issues with these but I don’t recall them ever walking thru like you’re saying. They are pretty sensitive and will set a light typically. I wouldn’t sweat it too much at this point...
Me too. I thought I just didn’t clean up my mess well from my last oil change and I’m meticulous and thought I was losing it. It honestly looked like the oil cooler housing was leaking but I touched the oil temp sensor with my fingers and it moved. I gave it a few turns and cleaned it off seems...
The aisin unit you have in this 3500 HO is going be a bit different than the 2500 with the 68RFE. They are a bit noisy and clunky here and there. However there have been some issues with them. How many miles?
I’m only here scrolling because I thought I just had bad luck. I had a taillight out this am on my 21 1500 and bought a pack of bulbs for both sides. As soon as I saw Stanley on the bulbs and not sylvania I knew what the issue was. Even if the filament looks good it’s probably the bulb. I’ve...
By chance, was this a quad cab or crew? I have this exact package in a ‘21 with a Hemi but I’m very interested in driving a new SST. Of course, my next truck also would need to be PR4, night edition and off road group with 3.92 gears. Just curious on real numbers out the door you may have signed...
I would be upset if this were my truck. It’s too bad that the dealer isn’t standing by this. But it is worth mentioning incase nobody knows, that particular bolt passenger side front most is actually 3/16ths shorter than the rest. I’d be curious if they jammed any of the longer bolts in there...
Just as it sounds. Be sure all coil and injector connectors are properly seated by pulling, pushing then pulling again. Likely not the cause but something to do.
Perform the pull push pull test then swap injectors. You may get lucky and see that they are very dirty and the problem follows. If not, I have seen a few broken valve springs and sometimes you can see on a visual inspection. If all that checks out, I’d suspect deeper. I have a huge fleet of...
To confirm, did you replace all 16 spark plugs? Oil done at every interval meaning? Every 10,000 miles? Does the engine sound like a sewing machine with ticking? Assuming it is a all highway truck, but engine hours would be helpful. Injectors are prone to failure and excessive carbon build up...
Did VOR two weeks ago for my manifolds so I didn’t wait as long as most. 29,000mi. My passenger side was broke in half. Doing both sides. With any luck, can squeeze them in again one more time before 60k.
Hopefully that’s true for updates. But mine had this issue with IOS 13 when I bought the truck. I’m still on iOS 14 as I can’t update it with my PC due to windows 7 iTunes issues, but it still does it. My girls phone is fully updated and newer and also does the samething in my truck. Her ride is...
Absolutely. But you missed my point. A dealer can push a warranty wheel if they had to to eat a wheel because of that. When you get a wheel from 1800whoknowswheels it makes it that much harder. To each their own, I don’t know what the OP has.
I can see both ways on this. $30 for a rotate but god forbid you scratch one of these aftermarket shiney wheels it’s going to be a fight. To make it right it will cost a new wheel and still a bad relationship between the customer and shop. Ive done the samething when I have seen stupid offset...
Yup, same deal I still have going on. I’d like to try putting a media hub in it but haven’t had time to mess with it. Updating the radio to the latest version didn’t help either. I didn’t update to IOS 15 because currently UConnect is awaiting an update for support for IOS 15.
I’d do a simple actuator test and scan for codes. Normally when I see these come in I do a quick check of the inlet and outlet temps on the heater core. Between the **** casting debris that is left inside these engines and the 10 year coolant, the heater core is the first place all this stuff...
