I drove with just the Airlinks for a couple weeks and it was a little harsher, but it wasn't bad at all. What I didn't like was that the front shocks would bottom out over bumps that didn't do it before (like the railroad tracks I go over twice a day). Once I installed the Daystar spacers up...
It's subtle, but it's still noticable. It works below 30mph because I see it when going through my neighborhood (especially in our roundabout). It's not nearly as obvious as my wife's Mazda tho.
Yes, a level kit changes things, but it easy to adjust for this in an easy and safe manner.
Regardless if you tow, everyone should properly adjust their headlights after changing their suspension. That's a given. Add in airbags and there is no issue with the headlights while towing.
The only...
Went from stock 32's to 10ply 34's and a level kit. Since you have a hemi with 3.92, tow ability is not an issue. You don't notice the bigger tires at all...even while towing.
You will see about a 2 MPG hit during normal daily driving, and more like a 1 to 1.5 MPG hit while towing. It's more...
It might auto-reverse until it gets a little warmer.
I don't have AVS (I have the MOPAR version), but the front windows wouldn't roll-up at first for me until I let the truck sit in the sun last fall. Never had an issue with it since.
I'm not sure about the gear limiter, but when I tow, I put it in tow/haul mode. When going down hills or steep grades, it will hold your gear after the first brake application so that the engine is maintaining your decent. Once it starts that engine braking process, it doesn't drop the RPM like...
Good stuff!
I have the Luyeds (to supplement the 60" Putco Lightbar), and for the price, I am surprised at the quality of them. The housing is metal (aluminum) and the LEDs are quite bright with a good beam pattern. They probably aren't as bright as the ones you have, but the Luyed's are very...
I'm also rocking the Cooper Discoverer At3 XLT, but in 295/60R20. They are basically identical in size, but mine are on the stock 20's of my Limited.
You'll be very happy with a 34" tire like I am. If you get a front leveling kit (like I have), it will fill out the wheel wells without any...
I had no issues with my ACC and my TT (5,645 lbs dry weight...closer to 6.5k loaded). In fact, I felt the same way as the OP...it made for a very easy drive on moderately flat Interstates.
Anything listed as a"live" feature requires the Tazer to be installed to work.
The items that are not under the live features will work without it installed (such as changing the tire size or fog lights with high beams).
Thanks!
I actually like these rims, so I didn't feel the need to get new ones for once. Maybe I'm finally getting old...lol
They are 295/60r20 which are 34" tires that are slightly wider than stock.
I did install a level kit (Daystar + Airlink for airbag suspensions) just before the tires...
I have been happy with my Bedrug XLT mat. It holds things in place and doesn't scratch a thing. It's soft on my knees or bum (helpful on the tailgate). It's easy to clean with a vacuum or a hose (they are designed to get wet). It also easy to remove if you need to. Works with or without the...
I took the TaT output and soldered/shrink wrapped the connection to the trailer harness extension wire (brake/turn combo) which it looks like it's 16 or 18awg. I then soldered the input wires for the TaT directly to the tail light wires (brake and turn signal wires), heat shrinked them...
