I switched Google Maps in to "North Up" mode and it seemed to do better, but that style messes with my mind when trying to think about where i'm turning when i'm in an unfamiliar area and actually using GPS. I did try Waze for about half of my commute this morning and turned auto to off...
That’s a good idea. I’ll give it a shot next time I go out. I messed with Apple Maps today to compare and it did not act the same way, but I did put it specifically in 3D.
Has anyone else had an issue with Google Maps constantly zooming in and out on its own when using Apple CarPlay? This has been happening on my UC5 lately and I can't seem to figure out why, nor have I been able to find much on it by searching. This is happening when using wireless CarPlay, and...
I tow a ~21' car trailer with my Jeep on it to various off road sites around the Southeast and Midwest. Trailer is 1200lbs empty and the Jeep with all my crap in & on it is probably 3500lbs. In 2018 we made a bucket list trip to Moab. NC to UT and back netted 10mpg average for 4,000 miles...
If he has the 2.7, maybe. And that's a big maybe. My 3.5 got 17 average around town, and would get into the low 20's on long highway trips not towing. Towing, it was 10-12 consistently.
It’s definitely a different kind of power. I was getting 17-18 in my 3.5 ecoboost, and so far I’m 16-17 with my Ram. The biggest difference for me is the fuel tank size. I went from a 36 gallon tank in the Ford to a 23 gallon tank in the Ram. The needle moves awful quick in comparison.
Looks good! I'll never not have PPF, and agree it's a must ASAP on a vehicle purchase.
I had my wife's Grand Cherokee done the day after we bought it with less than 100 miles on it. Today with over 60k on it, there's not a chip in the front
You can get it from the factory, but it's pretty worthless for what they charge. It only covers the front lip of the hood, the bezels under the lights, and the front sections of the quarter panels. They also include strips down the doors for door dings, a strip on the top of both sides of the...
It sounds just like the noise the V6 is known to make across other FCA models. Video example here:

For what it's worth, our GC with the 3.6 has done this since day 1 with no ill effects. Original consensus a while...
PPF will provide the most protection against normal rock chips, and is often self healing if a big enough rock hits it.
I just had the whole front end done on my 22, and there were already half a dozen small chips in the bumper from the previous owner's 1600 miles of ownership. There's a lot...
Mopar considers the etorque system part of the emissions system, so it falls under the federal standard of 8/80 and is not covered by any extended warranty. Just like other emissions parts as well.
I didn’t make the rule, just simply passing along what I was told by a very reputable dealer...
I confirmed with Zeigler last week that etorque is not covered under any Mopar extended warranty. It falls under the federal emissions warranty, 8 years/80k. I was working with them on a quote for max care and specifically asked the question.
You’ll have better luck finding a touch up pen from Duplicolor at Advance Auto. I have a couple of chips to touch up on mine and called two dealers this week. One said the other had it in stock, and the one that showed it did actually didn’t. Both said the touch up paints are on back order right...
Just brought this home this weekend. 2022 Laramie GT Level 2 with 4-corner air, pano roof and MFT. Only 1600 miles on it when I bought it.
Goes in this week to have the factory PPF peeled off and replaced with xpel PPF over the entire front end, as well as tint on the front two windows.
This. The turbos were probably the one part of my previous F150 that didn't give me any trouble in the last 5 years. Using Ford as an example, think of everything that gets an Ecoboost over the last 10 or so years. Almost everything in their line up has had the option. That's a LOT of...
Officially converted from the Ecoboost. Sold the Ford to Carvana for top trade on Wednesday and picked up a 2022 Laramie GT on Saturday. I haven't stopped grinning sense 😁
