Which vent did you use in this photo? It looks like one of the passenger vents. To see if you have a cooling issue, has to be taken from either of the driver vents, more so the far left drivers vent by window.
We have that same cover in our Ram for our dog, but I’ve always commented that it would have been great for when our kids were younger. It already has openings for the seat belts at the bottom. Sounds like you’re on to something. Especially good for infant projectile vomiting 😉
I’m curious about how well the A/C system works and how much drain it has on the overall distance that can be traveled in summer months. Most of my travels are in and between Houston and New Orleans so pretty hot and humid most of the year. What is everyone’s experience with EV A/C performance...
OMG, Dude😂😂😂, just admit when you’re wrong😂😂😂. It is obvious without a doubt that the TSB to correct the cooling deficiency was clearly the faulty design flaw of the plenum and it’s inability to isolate the heater core from the flow path when the AC was set to colder temperatures!!! It’s a no...
Your a/c is sub-par by industry standards... 58 is horrible performance! You obviously have a naturally higher tolerance for warmer cabin conditions and are comfortable with an underperforming a/c system. Doesn’t matter what you say, the Ram system does not compare with its competitors. Like I...
A “reasonable expectation” is that every other vehicle I have ever owned in my life (and I’m 54) or have in my driveway right now can reach upper 30 to lower 40 deg vent temps in 100+ degree ambient conditions! That is an “unspoken” standard! Especially for a truck that advertises such high...
Almost 50 degrees on the driver center vent and a 6 degrees cooler reading on the passenger center vent tells me you have blend door issues, just like everyone else. You need to compare the drivers side vent to the left of steering wheel for accurate testing as that is the vent that typically...
I used some light wood and covered it with carpet to match the bed rug. It is hinged in the middle for easy removal and storage when not needed. I cut a groove in a short PVC pipe and painted it black. The pipe slides over the swivel point to keep the board rigid during use. I cut the total...
I am having this same issue, exactly as you describe when iPhone is hooked via Bluetooth. CarPlay works fine and also VR, as long as I plug into the USB.
My 2019 Limited has this same very annoying issue, so I’m staying tuned as well!
Will be nice if it’s just an updated switch to replace the one currently installed.
Add mine to the list. I live in Houston, TX area. On humid mornings, which is just about every morning, my windshield fogs up on the outside and definitely makes it hard to see, especially early in the morning. A safety issue for sure. There is always air leaking from the defrost vent and blowing...
If it’s OK to ask while they’re in there, maybe they could look at the portion of the blend door that is supposed to isolate the defrost vent when defrost is not on. I notice there is cold air hitting the windshield when I do not have defrost selected, which is causing fogging on the outside of...
Only way to confirm if the blend door is sealing and isolating the heater core properly is to take temperature readings at the far left driver’s vent and compare to temps at either of the passenger vents. If the temperature on the far left drivers vent is in the mid-to-low 40’s and close to the...
