I've been running mine in 4w auto.....for some reason the noise stops when I do so.

Has anyone scooped up a 3.55 yet? Im going to order a new truck soon and saw that we now have a new option. It might be the perfect medium between the 3.21 & 3.92. I run 35's and that will help me get a little bit better gas mileage and keep my rpm's down a bit on the highway.

Im going to order a new 2021 while i only have 17K miles on it to get better money for my trade. The only question is do I go with the 3.55 instead of the 3.92 since we now have a new option. I think that will be perfect with 35's and I can get a tad bit better gas mileage.

Thanks for all of the info. I'll continue to drive my truck hard and hopefully with a few more miles and colder temps Ill be able to get this sorted out. All of my service has been done at the dealership so I am good to go there.

That’s good news...the dealer said the noise needs to be louder in order to diagnose..I created a Ram cares case as well to document... i’m not sure if it helps or not at all but they did need to give me a new transmission on my truck at 200 miles so maybe the dealer did something wrong when...

The sound I'm concerned about is the "bell ringing at lower rpm's" It also doesn't help that I have mud tires on and a magnaflow exhaust.

I've been doing some research and think it might possibly be the flexplate. I just found a video that mimics the noise I have but cant figure out why it goes away in 4WD? Please keep me posted.

I have already had so many issues with my truck including needing a new transmission at only 200 miles. With that being said a new random noise/rattle just started two weeks ago. It only happens at a low RPM in higher gears while the engine is under load. It almost sounds like someone is ringing...

Yeah let me know how you make out. Mine just started doing this at around 13,000 miles so maybe it is a lifter? I have a magnaflow exhaust and everything looks good underneath

Mine is even like a ping...sounds like a Metallic rattle almost.... The service department always does a really good job at my dealership so I’m hoping that they can figure out what the heck it is next week. Have you had yours checked out?
