Update: So I finally took delivery last night... Felt like forever, but worth the wait. Ordered 12/17/19, so just about 8 weeks/ 2 months total. Could have taken it a few days earlier, but I had some delays on my end with title to my old truck being traded in.

Agreed. I had one on my 2011 Silverado. It was thought of as a logical alternative my most members on that forum, Because the factory airbox was not necessarily a poor design. The smooth bellow was a nice replacement with the aftermarket filter. I don't recall it being a $200 kit though...

I like the Overlay on your grille. I recently stumbled across that on Ebay/Amazon. How is the install? It just snaps on? If you tried to remove it, do you feel it would damage/ scratch the grill? Thanks

The salesman at the dealership has been giving me status updates. I believe they are the only ones with access at this point in the process.

A guy I met through this forum, has a connect with a RAM employee who can check i believe. I think its basically the same info the dealers can see/ provide.

I feel your pain... Very frustrating. I don't know that they can provide any info until someone else has updated the status change. Today is my estimated ship date originally given from dealership when the VIN was assigned on 12/30/19. Still at D1 status as per RAM CHAT....

I ordered 12/17 and was given est. ship date of 1/28, so that's very similar. Tough to see the status unchanged for close to 4 weeks, but hopefully this "ramp up" will have things moving now.
