I swapped my lower grill yesterday and if you have the active air dam, its 4 bolts and a connector and removing it gives you a bunch more room. The active air dam is staying off and debating on taking the regular air dam off.
I know I've seen it somewhere here but can't find it now. I am wanting to hook-up my driving lights to turn on with my high beams but also want to be able to turn them on separately without using the highbeams. Can someone point me in a direction? Thanks!
Has anyone installed some cube lights behind the lower grill? I have a pair of SS3s I'm looking to install there and wondering if anyone has sone it and ideas or links to brackets. Thanks!
You may not need/want the 33 gallon tank, but it will definitely help when you sell it. Part of the reason I got it on mine. The 26 gallon probably would've been fine for my uses.
I don't there is an install video, watch the videos posted earlier in this thread or download/read the instructions, they're pretty good. I did it in about an hour. The trickiest part was the dash.
Everything is backordered and supply chains are a mess. The same part that you need for a repair, they need to build a new truck. Have you tried reaching out to @RamCares to see if they can assist? On a side note, I find it odd that a water pump failed again that quickly. I'm not saying it isn't...
I understand the layout, but thanks for the detailed explanation. It was just a thought, kinda spit balling where I may not know but might trigger a thought with someone else. High speed CAN might be a bit better at transferring but agree that it would be most likely USB, its how I used to...
They don't want code readers to read the detailed codes through OBD, what makes you think they're going to open the OS that controls so many functions of the truck? I know its android based and would be great to have the access but the only way I see it is if someone gets the code or know this...
I just got this one in grey and fits good, all the buttons work, and isn't grippy to get stuck in my pocket: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B09GKHLJ1G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
PCM and ECM same thing, just depends on who you talk to and it can vary brand to brand. That said, PCM is what controls the firing. Before replacing the PCM, have you tried moving the ignition coil to a different cylinder to see if the code moves with it? Check the spark plugs, etc? I would go...
If you're replacing the cover, I wouldn't be concerned with the cover warranty and the only part of the truck warranty could be something related to the MFT, but adding the retrax or ultraflex would be adding support back in, in addition to having the right on brackets. I wouldn't be worried...
I read somewhere, probably here, where they took the log file, made a copy in Word and used that to track changes as well. I know Alfa does it as well but kinda of a good idea to track as well
