As I understand it, there are no physical parts missing - just the chips that enable them. Once the chips come in, the dealer installs the chip and configures the crippled component. But there are a lot of "as I understand its" out there, so take with a grain of salt.
But my point was, if this...
I have never put money down on a lease. What I understand, is that if you want the "advertised" monthly payment, you have to put X-amount down. But I have leased several vehicles over the years and never put money down. But, hey... maybe the game has changed.
So, what is Ford and other manufacturers doing the same thing, going to do with all those stored 2021 vehicles once the 22's start hitting the street? I assume the'll have to sell them as 21's and just mark them down.
I just drove from TX to IL and back and managed to get between 20 - 21. I was really happy with that considering I was hauling about 800lbs in the back with two adults in the truck. Mine is FWD, 5.7 with 3.21. Driving to and from work I get about 17.
So, I'm considering trading my 21 Limited for a 22 Limited 10th Anniversary. I got a quote from Mark Dodge on the new vehicle, and I'm happy with their numbers, but they said they can't give me an amount on my trade. This is the reply I received: “I’d have to wait until his truck is built or...
Ram could make this so easy if they would enable the existing cameras to function as a dash-cam. MG, I've got like 5 cameras hanging off that truck - why won't these manufacturers open up that tech. I mean, I would even pay extra for it.

Well, I have all 3 and I would hate to be without any of them. The Ram Boxes are very useful. It's where I have my toolbox, tow strap, gloves, trailer hitch, jumper cables, cargo straps, etc. With the MFT, I almost never drop the tailgate unless I'm hauling something that requires the extra bed...
I never use the traditional tailgate unless I am hauling something that requires the extra length. The car-door-like functionality of the MFT is awesome and meets almost all of my needs.
My wife and I went to lunch one day and when I returned to my truck... it was running - the entire time we were in the restaurant. I felt like an idiot, but it's easy to do if you're distracted.
There is no way anyone would notice the windshield tint. I went 35% on the front windows, and I think you can go as far as 25% and still be legal (I think).
