I was second guessing myself having not ordered the tow package (I wanted the 360 camera and for my trailers (same width as the truck) can skip the extendable tow mirrors. I recalled a heavy duty axle option in the online configuration tool (see sig for truck specs), but only opted for the 3.92...
Does anyone know if all 3.92 ratio rear ends are the “heavy duty towing rear axle” (10” Dana super 60?), or if that is one version and there is also a 9.25” 3.92 ratio rear end?
I’ve enjoyed folks posting about their trucks, and cheering on the ones that ordered back in May to get their trucks soon! Reviewing the BOTS spreadsheet It looks like the are caught up to the end of June now (trucks in production, not delivered). I think mine is the 4th oldest, so still a few...
BostonBlueRam - as folks told me, it's best to ignore those estimated ramp dates.
I ordered 7/20, went D1 on 8/25 with a Ramp ETA of 9/9
I'm still in D1 at this point, though I hope every spreadsheet refresh that something changes:)
I'll hope you have a quick turnaround though! My dealer told...
And I'm hoping a '96 F350 will (or 2007 LR3); particularly as both are being sold and replaced by the Ram (when they finally get around to building it;)
I don't have my truck yet, but my current tow vehicle has 4 corner air suspension and it has worked well over 160k+ so I ordered it with my Ram. Current tow vehicle is a different brand, so I'm home Ram executed it as well. The self leveling feature has been great, and the ride is too. I do...
At least for the last generation there are a few options I believe:

Best looking truck I've seen yet! I'm waiting for mine (with off road package and air suspension). I'd not thought of the 2" lift having read what you did about it being pointless, but now I'll have to reconsider....
Congrats! I'm still in D1 I believe (in good company with lots of other folks:) ). It is nice to see the process move pretty quick once it starts. I'll hope my truck gets built next week, but I'm guess it is a real long shot I'll have it for our family vacation to Maine in October as I'd...
I've heard that in previous generations if you popped the "end caps" of the bed corners (the part that isn't the ram box door) there were a few holes there that allowed you to bolt a rack down.
Do the new ones have those holes?
I've been looking in to racks (Dethloff for one...
Sport package is the best looking of all IMhO. I ended up not getting it though as I need a front "bench" seat, and just as with the Laramie Longhorn or Limited as soon as you go Sport package you get the awesome console and 2 front buckets instead. I think that was my one big disappointment...
I went D1 on 8/25... no movement yet, but then I’ve not waited as long as many of you have (I ordered 7/20). Hoping I see the truck by 10/2, but I’m thinking that isn’t realistic at this point.
Dealer let me know my truck was scheduled to be built this week, shipping date mid September. Tracking here says rail car 10/7... so something doesn't match up... we'll see how it all progresses!
Could be clunk, could be the dealer if it isn’t a sold order- my dealer couldn’t order air suspension or off-road package unless pre sold (as both were on the lot, just not the same truck nor what I wanted.)
Well, if you have their ear or they are watching here.. I wish they'd formally announce if they will have a ram box with the 6'4" bed available this fall... I really wanted the longer bed, but the ramboxes won out. If I could get both I'd rather do so.... and since my vehicle isn't even in D1...
I very highly suspect (between email response hours and canned responses) that the folks responding to inquiries are not in the US. Though India comes to mind Poland seems to be a very popular place for European companies to place their customer service units.
