2WD is somewhat restricted. You can’t run the BDS / zone 4 and 6 inch lifts as it’s stated for 4WD only (there was someone on the forum who had a shop install it for him, but they didn’t use all the parts and don’t think many shops would work with you like that).
If you want to maintain ride...
Generally, it seems like there are a few options people consistently are going with...
mopar 2 inch lift - still leaves rake, but if you had ORP springs or a 1.5 inch spacer it’s the same as the ready lift height wise and you can fit 35s but would be 0 offset which really doesn’t give you any...
Well I've bought the 1.5 inch spacer and RC UCA for 3.5 inch lift. Also finally got the speedo recalibration which I've desperately been needing to do. I'll probably try to put it end of this week or next and will post pics / comments on any change in ride.
I currently have 18s on a 295/70 and hate it.But I have the longhorn and I just don’t think the beefy sidewall look matches at all. I’m going to be switching to a 20x10 -18 on 35x12.5 sometime this year.
You do need to be careful on the wheel you choose, my 18 fuel contras just rip off my wheel...
Hey everyone, I have a black 2020 longhorn with the mopar lift currently. I have a set of 18s, but they are ripping off my wheel weights and I think they look too small for this trim and what I want. I’m going to be getting the lift leveled and buying some 35x12.50 and getting new rims. I need...
So I have a question for the folks who did the ORP springs for the level. Not sure if some of the information I am about to state is correct or not, so will be happy to be corrected.
I have the AC kit installed, so there is no spacer, am I correct in the assumption that it is achieving its...
I’m pretty sure that after the AA kit there wasn’t a front spacer anymore. Mine did not come with one. This kit doesn’t improve our rake situation really at all, I’m still at 2 inches of rake. If you want to eliminate rake then you’d need to explore lowering the rear by an inch, the ORP springs...
I have a little bit of rub on my right tire, haven’t messed with it yet but I think with what everyone else is doing to solve rubbing there would be none
Hey, here are a few pictures...I currently have 295/70r18 nitto terra grappler SL, with fuel contras in an 18x9 +1 or 2 offset. It’s very flush.
Front measurement from ground to center of the fender is 39.75 inches, back is exactly 42. So 2 inches or so, which I’m really not a fan of. Currently...
I’ve read the entire thread a few times now, I’ve got my longhorn with the mopar lift but the rake is driving me crazy. I have ORP springs sitting in the garage, but seems like pretty split opinions on it. I really like how it drives with the lift, can anyone help me out with the ride quality...
I know 19bluestreak went through the same thing and he listed out good details earlier on in this thread, maybe around the 50ish page mark. Essentially the only difference was a bolt was AC so I feel pretty good that there is no major difference and it is just in fact a small change that...
Well its pretty difficult to get the kit right now, at least from my experience with three separate sites. 7702424AC is on backorder, but from what I was able to pick up in this thread is that its a bolt difference between the two? So I went ahead and bought the AB kit on ebay.
I'll be...
You don’t need to get new UCA if you are just doing a level in the front, UCA are required when you do something more like the mopar 2 inch lift, ready lift, or hacking your own way to it.
I’d suggest just getting bilstein 5100s adjustable front shocks, at setting 4-6 depending on how much rake...
Very interested in this...luckily I do have a V8 2WD :) But just by looking at that it looks pretty much exactly what I wanted to do with bilstein shocks but was nervous about doing the front shocks to max setting. I wonder if you would still want to replace the UCA.
