You can buy a 'charge only' cable that won't pass data. There are also data blocking USB plugs so you can use any cable. There's another charge only port under the center armrest too.

Welcome to the forum 🙂 Uconnect is just the name of the infotainment system in general. Even the small 5" screen is called Uconnect. The app functionality is from the SiriusXM Guardian service that comes bundled with the navigation/hotspot/SOS system...
Probably more accurate to say the plastic window is still molded into the button. I'd be willing to bet if you took the switch apart the actual LED is missing. Probably an early victim of the chip shortage (or simply a cost cutting measure they figured nobody would care about).

You could get a regular leather wrapped heated wheel from a lower trim level if you don't like the wood. That's what my Big Horn has. Should be a straight swap.
That only happens to me if I accidentally hit the unlock button (which turns on the cargo lights too) before I hit the remote start button. If I hit the right button to begin with, it works fine. The LUYED LEDs are what I have too.
As Vince said, aftermarket LEDs are easy to do. Just be warned, they can interfere with fob reception. I did the cargo lights and if I unlock the truck from the remote, the cargo lights come on and block any further communication until I get inside (IE- I can't remote start it or relock it from...
All of what you said, plus our power grid can't handle the load it currently has. It struggles (and fails) when everyone tries to run their AC when it's hot. How is it supposed to also support all these EVs that will need to charge?
