Yeah I've noticed that on a few roads as well, most notably to me would be the road my step daughter lives on, in absolute suburbia. Speed limit is 30 but I'm allowed to go 55 according to the truck. I don't use maps in those neighborhoods but it pops up on my HUD.

Had mine delivered to NY and was fortunate enough to have no damage at all. Had the choice to wait until morning or take delivery around midnight, so naturally midnight it was: Truck has been flawless since that day (June 10th) and the first 10,000 miles. Hoping for many more.

Welcome to the forum, sorry I don't have an answer to your question but an alternate option would be to back in to places. Makes it a lot easier to leave and you can get as close backing in as you need without having to go through menus to select the camera. I haven't really seen this...
