Yeah man those are great during winter. I'm lucky to have a few choices locally that run anywhere from around $20-$50 a month depending on which wash plan you go with. Even at $50 a month it's a no brainer to keep these things as rust free as possible. I run mine through once a week during...
Haha totally understand and feel the same, I'm pretty sure we have over 300 days of overcast here (give or take) so going to the opposite of that would be pretty tough.
My biggest gripe with where I live weather wise is only being able to drive my classic car part of the year instead of year...
I agree with some of the others about seasons and having some fluctuation in temperature. The thing that really gets to me is the constant sun, the part of NY I am from is amongst the gloomiest in the country and after nearly a lifetime (35 years) in it, I can't stand going more than a few days...
Yeah I've noticed that on a few roads as well, most notably to me would be the road my step daughter lives on, in absolute suburbia. Speed limit is 30 but I'm allowed to go 55 according to the truck. I don't use maps in those neighborhoods but it pops up on my HUD.
Had mine delivered to NY and was fortunate enough to have no damage at all. Had the choice to wait until morning or take delivery around midnight, so naturally midnight it was:
Truck has been flawless since that day (June 10th) and the first 10,000 miles. Hoping for many more.
Was a couple of days ago but we finally got enough snow accumulation for me to test out the new (as of June) truck for the first time.
My favorite and most unexpected part was going up our hill in 2wd and drifting sideways the entire time (having to feather the throttle a lot to ward off...
Let's get ugly with it, how about some salty trucks? I know our roads are completely white washed in salt currently, to the point where traction taking off from a stop is often lost due to it being so caked on the roads.
I finally got to take mine through the wash yesterday when it warmed up...
I'll be on the lookout for one as well if lack of traction triggers it. We finally got enough snow to have some fun in and after about a block of being sideways going up our hill (late at night before anyone gets too upset) the truck kept beeping at me while flashing the traction light. I'm...
Welcome to the forum, sorry I don't have an answer to your question but an alternate option would be to back in to places. Makes it a lot easier to leave and you can get as close backing in as you need without having to go through menus to select the camera.
I haven't really seen this...
