Yeah I was looking at those as well but they are about double the cost and the high mileage rating just makes me think they ride like concrete. I put about 30k/yr on my truck and in the past have gone for grippier tires that give a better ride over long life.
I'm looking for tires. I want to go up to a 60 or 65 profile, but I also want them to be well behaved on the highway. I seen these and they seem to have good reviews. Just looking for any personal experience with them.
Ahh the "Chrysler Clap" I've had that issue on every chrysler product I've owned with the exception of my 1988 Dodge Aries. My 2003 caravan, my 2005 seabring, my 2018 pacifica...well I haven't gotten it on the Ram yet but I figure it's only a matter of time, I'm guessing it's the swaybar link...
Had it in mine, though about a CAI but they are basically a $300 clone of the factory airbox so I just did a K&N and popped the charcoal filter with a screwdriver. 2k miles and no issues just a better engine tone
My friend is 6'10" and doesn't have a problem in my truck, the adjustable pedals, telescopic steering wheel, and adjustable seat also help. He also owns a current body style WRX so he's already used to sitting in a reclined position, if your preferred seating position is that of a 5' tall person...
Yeah I would've but it was over the max tongue weight of the car. it was 300lbs/500 w/WD hitch. so I was a good boy and followed the rules. I swear I pulled alot of hair out doing the calculations for payload capacity on the front and rear axles and at those low tongue weights it was difficult...
No Joke, pulled a 17ft hybrid w/ a bone stock 2018 Volvo S90 T5 AWD, averaged 9.8mpg on 91octane. Over the winter I got another Great Dane hence the Ram 1500 and the search for a bigger camper.
I have one for my 3500lb hybrid travel trailer from when I was pulling it with my Volvo S90, mainly because of the tongue weight, it sagged a little w/o it but I didn't want it to bottom out. Now I still have it and I just got a 1500 so I'm on the fence if I should still use it or not, it has...
It's funny you say that because on my 6.0L G8 my stock baseline was about 8whp higher with just an oil change. Dirty whatever quaker state oil the previous owner had vs Amsoil.
yeah that's what I was expecting just looking at the stock intake it's not restrictive at all, I really wonder how CAI mfg's can even claim any gains over stock when they're basically the same layout. maybe it's still reading less air and it's leaning it out somehow and it's just temporary.
If it helps I bought a 2019 with 30k miles for $38k

I have the the Laramie w/ sunroof and it's the one of the things that makes people say wow this is really nice inside. when you open it to Vent it doesn't open far enough IMO and kind of whistles, not loud but if the radio is off you can kind of hear it, like a dog whistle very faint but it's...
The Short: I swapped a Fram with a K&N and removed the carbon filter screen.
The Long: So...I was averaging around 15.7-16.5mpg, mostly city driving. I thought that was low but hey it's winter. I went on a ski trip that put around 1200mi's all highway and when it was done, I was around 18.7...
I really enjoyed reading this post, I completely understand how the axle ratio works, but it was great to get that info in such a specific to the Ram trucks way. After reading this I just thought how complicated this would be on the F150 with their 4 different ratio's, which is also one of the...
So that fell off mine as well, I drove my truck thru a part of road that was sunk in from a water main break on the driver side of the road, I think the water came up and ripped it off, I drove to a car wash, went thru the car wash and then got a fill up at the gas station where I noticed it. I...
I owned a 2013 Tundra CrewMAX SR5, it was completely trouble free, drove well and pulled well. I think in 2013 it was the best Truck on the road, I chose it over a 3.5L TT F-150 which had tons of speed and power but felt small inside , and I'm 5-9 180lbs, mostly in the shoulder, IDK maybe it was...
