Looking to add AUX switches? Using the homelink buttons to control Lightbars DIY HOW TO for under $20.

So I just added MicTuning C2 rocklights under my truck and I didn't want to drill a hole on a panel in the interior of the truck. So I purchased a eMylo DC 12V 1 Channel 433Mhz RF Wireless Relay Remote Control Momentary Light Switch Self-lock Transmitter with Receiver for Home Use Learn more...

    First tow 3.21 review

your setup is similar to mine (7400/900). I've towed thru WV on long and steep grades without issue. The temp gauges are very similar to running empty except for the oil temp. it's usually around 215F empty and on those long climbs it can get to 275F. Now, I use "liquid gold" in Amsoil HD oil...

    Most reliable (power) modifications?

I was thinking about doing just shorty's with the stock catback, it'll probably net about 20-30 HP and torque if the Hemi is anything like the 6.0 SBC and is probably the cheapest HP/dollar mod you can do that you'll actually notice. I looked at the intake and it's really similar to the old...

    Overheating While Towing in Mountains

It depends on what tool you are, if you're a 10mm socket you're always lost, haha. Personally I see myself as I'm an angle grinder, the cheapest power tool in the box, always the last one to be used and i'll do some real damage to your paint if you cut me off on the highway.

All I want for Xmas is an engine oil cooler

I'm hitting 275° towing and running at 245° constantly when towing at 80°F ambiant, <1000ft elevation at 60% relative humidity. I'm looking to put one in as well and before anyone tells me not to, please relax. I'm going to put in an inline thermostat that will bypass it at temps under 220° I...

    Overheating While Towing in Mountains

I've got a 5th gen 2019 with the highway diff not the max tow, I was pulling a 7600# trailer thru WV, on a 2-3mi stretch at 6-8% I got to 220-180-275 as well. The coolant and trans went up maybe 10-20° compared to driving without any load but that oil temp, normally around 227, and 240 when...

Anyone with a roll bar/chase rack they would recommend?

I'm looking to add one to my truck bed, but haven't seen many where they have it actually mounted on a 5th gen. If anyone has a picture and an opinion I would greatly appreciate it.

    Programing Sunroof Switch

Do you have the 3 home link buttons on your visor? You can buy modules that are basically a wireless relay that you can program to turn on and off with those buttons.

Towing with 2020 Big Horn 5.7l and 3.21

Mine is 7800lbs fully loaded (purposely put more than I'll ever put in it), truck with 2 adults, 3 children and 2 dogs. At the cat scale I was 140lbs over the payload and 100lbs over the GVCW. So my 1 Great Dane is 11 and she'll be leaving us soon, after our first trip we've been leaving her...

    TOYO OPEN COUNTY AT3

I almost went with those, they get really good reviews. I opted for the Goodyear Agilis Crossclimate's, they're more of a road pattern but I was really surprised how deep the tread cut is on them.

    Front Air Dam Removal

Yeah, I used to average 21.5-22 on the days I'd do 400mi's, then I switched from a tonneau to a soft topper and we went down to 20.5 on the same trip. I just did a 5100 lift on the 2.6" setting and a 1.5" spacer in the rear and replaced the tires with some 275/65r20 Goodyear Agilis...

    Front Air Dam Removal

I was thinking about a way to make the active air dam lower for lifted trucks, since it only goes down at higher speeds it might make up some of that lost mpg. According to the press release the active air dam adds 1mpg over all, so probably 2 on the highway, I'm not sure what ratio metric they...

Would not having the advance safety group stop you ordering?

I personally will never buy a new car without adaptive cruise, but I put alot of miles on the highway and I tow a camper pretty often in the summer, so it's pretty important to me, it really reduces the stress of towing. I could live without it if I had to but it's a very large investment to not...

    2.5" Lift/Level - Opinion of my Selections

Here she is, I've ordered some 275/65r20's. I have the airlift 1000HD's that seem to have a slow leak somewhere, I just pumped them up to 48psi and parked for 2 hrs I lost 2psi. I bubble sprayed everything and couldn't find it, I'm guessing it's the Schrader valve but it's so slow that didn't...

    2.5" Lift/Level - Opinion of my Selections

I just did the 5100's on 2.6" level 7 lift in the front and a 1.5" spacer in the rear, you have a 1" rake from ground to top of wheel well but looks level. I'm using stock UCA's because the bilstiens are only 1in longer over all, the other 1.5" is achieved with spring preload. so techically the...

    How heavy is too heavy.

I have the 5.7 3.21 rear. Tongue is about 900 on a 7400# trailer, I've cat scaled it and its right at GVCW less 100# with more than everything I would take with us on one trip(worst case scenario). the truck is about 150# over the GVW but the individual axle loads are under. I use a WDH...

    Select Heavy Electric?

I guess all trailers are different, my 7600lb trailer seems to operate fine on the light electric at a 6 gain. I haven't tried heavy electric yet, but if you yield good results I might want to try it myself. The manual says heavy is for 10k lbs and higher but that doesn't really make any bit of...
