Has anyone seen the ambient mood lighting available in some of the VW's and BMW's?
I was looking up in the sunroof of the Ram and I think I can do the same thing with a little wiring harness and some bulk led strips. IDK is this stupid or cool? I figure I'll put a dimmer controller on it if...
I don't mind the dial at all. it's the weirdest thing at first, you know, not having a shifter to stroke while driving, but it clears up so much space it's grown on me, and the fact that it spins itself into park when you turn the engine off is great. the thing that i want are those paddle...
I came from a Tundra. I really liked the interior/exterior, the ride. The Hemi is noticably more powerful than the Tundra. The things that are a little short with the Ram is #1 towing heavy tongue weights 800+lbs causes alot of squat, WDH helps, airlift bags help (1000HD's suck get the 5000's)...
Has anyone experienced their seats go from so cold it causes you back to cramp up to barely works even after being on with remote start because mine is like a box of chocolate 😂
I just did my entire truck with the HF DA with 20mm stroke, Did the compound then polish and followed it up with turtle wax graphene wax (liquid not the spray) the results were pretty good, there were some scratches from the car wash that I didn't get out but I didn't have the will to cut that...
I did the 5100 lift on the 2.6" setting myself, it pops and clunks a little, I haven't gotten under there but it sounds like the textbook "Chrysler Clap" or at least that's what we call it, my 03 caravan, 05 seabring gtc, and family members cars from PT Cruisers to charger r/t's all had it, and...
I've got them and they stop the bounce but do little for the sag, I think I'm going to take them out and go with the 5000 setup. Despite my box saying it was for the 5th gen the way those pucks fit I think I had the smaller ones.
Ram, just so you all know that warranty isn't worth anything. They're probably the worst warranty in the industry. So get over it, don't worry about it and lift away they're not going to cover anything anyway.
Just to make sure it's the mirror and not the door trim drive with the mirrors folded in, if it's the mirrors it should go away, if it doesn't try putting some tire shine on the door trim rubber and see if that changes or gets rid of the noise, the silicone will interfere with the rubbers...
If you tow a bigger trailer just go with the lift/level kit. If you don't, go with a bigger lift kit. That $3-400 on the 5100's makes a pretty big dent in the 6" lift kit price. That is I'm assuming you're installing it yourself, if not, cost of the parts and install becomes a bigger point of...
Your worst case scenario is a dead lifepo4 (11.2v) and a running truck (14v), and that could pull 60a+ in theory. My camper has dual batteries and I also considered doing this but for me I don't boondock, I don't even run the camper for long periods on battery, or need to rely on the batteries...
I got the snap and zap mirrors, they looked almost identical to these, they sucked. The mirror would vibrate to the point of being unusable, even after tightening the pivot ball. When I was adjusting the driver's side position, the glass hit the outside of the mirror and broke under thumb...
You can't go wrong with either one but the bed rug is better imo because you can comfortably lay on it, an sliding things in is easier. I occasionally take my great danes for a ride and it's much safer for them as well
I bought the OPT7 one, took one look at the install and returned it. I'm think I'm going to try again, but it looked like it was too thick and the tailgate would come down and smash it, since then a few people have mounted it successfully so maybe they're hope but with that cable and plastic...
Here, get one of these, they're 30gallons, $230, and have a hand pump. I used to have one for race fuel they work great.
Zoom Zoom Parts 30 Gallon Portable Gas Fuel Storage Tank With Pump Hose For ATVS, Auto, Mowers, Marine, Boat...
Sure, the rock lights came with a wiring harness that included a lighted rocker switch that had 3 wires going to it #1 12vDC from the battery #2 12vDC from the switch to the lights, and #3 ground for the light in the switch to work.
The wires were connected to the switch with spade connectors...
I just picked up Michelin Agilis Crossclimate's they're basically the Defender but the newer generation with the Three Peak mountain snowflake symbol. They ride really nice I've got 20" rims and went up to a 275/65r20 to add another inch of lift to the truck but I didn't want to hum all the...
This is the switch that came with the Rock lights, it has 3 wires because it's lighted(which really helps with the wiring of the controller) I crimped some spade connectors so I could do the wiring inside and just clip it into the connectors on the switch, mostly because it was the first time I...
