Question: Mine came with 2 longer screws and 2 shorter. Does it matter where they go? I haven't bolted mine down yet...
Edit: Long screws in the back of safe per Locker Down
And, I sure liked how my Tacoma bolted into metal rather than taped into plastic....
Followup on the mat: leaving the...
I wish I had seen this tip before fussing with those damn tabs. Tried to do it carefully, then finally just twisted them with pliers until they popped off. Glad I saw it before I cut my map though! Great tip! For anyone else doing this, I'd highly suggest going this route before breaking the...
I won't install a compressor. I always have a small, inexpensive 12 volt compressor though... piece of cake and easy to adjust with that. I got my air bag kit but haven't installed it yet.
Howdy,
Does anyone know the ideal size of T Slot nut to use on the factory bed rail? Or, is there somebody out there making custom solutions for this rail? There were a lot of different things available for my Tacoma, but I think this rail is a larger and heavier.

Having a 2" level kit...

I'm still holding out for the ARE or Snugtop high caps (MX or Hi-Liner). I've been emailing them regularly since early July when I picked up my 2019 Bighorn. Originally it looked like end September. Then October, November... now they are saying January. I sure hope one of them delivers soon.
ARE has several ready to order that are not the raised style. They sent me this a month ago:

Snugtop and ARE are very close. I want a raised topper (ARE MX or Snugtop Hi-Liner). I had an MX on my Tacoma and loved it. Both are very similar in quality and I'll take the first that hits the market (looks like ARE may get there first).
One benefit of the Snugtop Sport version is the rear...
