35” 7/8 from the bottom edge of my wheel with 20’s (probably the most accurate way to measure)
41 3/4” from ground to fender, ridge grapplers with 5k miles, aired to 38 psi. Again this is not a great way to test as everyone’s trucks weigh differently, could be aired differently and have more or...
Ground to fender is 36” on the nose, maybe 35 7/8. It all depends on the tire pressure and tread depth of tires too. I have fairly new ridge grapplers so that could have a contribution to height
Wanted to share some photos of my recent lift. I did the Fox 2.5 DSC coilover set to 3” however I think it netted me a few more mm’s than 3” as it looks higher than my Mopar + ORP lift. I foolishly didn’t take measurements - was too excited to get them on haha. Install was super easy, I have a...
Hey all, I wanted to start a ball joint failure thread. I recently installed readylift 3.5 UCAS on a 3” fox coilover lift. I was all prepared to buy the BDS UCA’s, but then stumbled upon 3 different posts with sheared BJ’s. Plus 2 more on FB. Not very confidence inspiring.
If you’ve had a ball...
you should be ok if you don’t tow. If you tow a lot, the angles of the UCA’s (even with the Mopar lift UCA) are ok but not great. I have this same kit, with ORP springs and recently switched to a 3” coilover kit and the ride is a bit better. I switched to RL ucas with the 3” coilover and the...
I can’t speak much to the kings but I just put the fox 2.5 DSC on my front end and they have blown me away. I came from the Mopar 2” and the ride is so much better,
A lift won’t, but taller tires will effectively reduce your pulling capacity as it lengthens your gear ratio. A 3.92 rear end with 35” tires drops the ratio to a 3.61, so somewhere in between a 3.55 and 3.92 tow rating.
“Getting by” is one way to shorten the lifespan of your CV’s and pop a ball joint. I’ve seen several (including aftermarket) shear or have a ball joint pop out on these trucks. Playing with fire IMO.
The Mopar arms are cheap enough to use.
Lol! There are 83 pages with plenty of info on this thread. Do a tiny bit of scrolling and you'll find everything you need, including all of the part number supersedes.
For anyone interested, I will be selling my Mopar 2" lift here shortly. I am willing to sell just the front by itself and keep my rear for my new lift (would actually save me a little money so i dont have to rebuy all the rear end stuff).
The kit would include ORP springs (1"), Fox Front...
I have a 2” lifted truck and Hellwig said I did not need the links after sending them some photos of my angle. You want the bar to be as parallel as possible but some upward angle (as long as it’s not extreme) is ok.
