I think the OP said that the module was bad. Don’t know if flashing it broke the module or the module was just broke all together.
For us, if the module is good, a flash works fine.

Ouch.. this is bad. My ram was part of the recall, and all it was a flash firmware update.
After that, I notice a couple of things with the parking sensors. They beep a little more, but they don't apply brakes anymore like they used to. Maybe its more sensitive to speed but a a slow craw...
You can tell on those... the stubborn folks that think anything new is automatically bad.
It is a touchy subject, for those that reject change.
Lighter engine, more power....it's what we wanted. Now we got it, folks always want to complain about something. They will drop the price and they...
I did test drove both…the high output is no joke just fast.
It just shows how dated the 5.7 engine is.
Im actually going to go away from any of the gas engines and will get a ram rev or ford lighting. Love my 6.4 and will keep that forever.

Don’t think I would be happy with a 20 year old engine and call for celebration. And even if they did bring back the 5.7, it’s underpowered compared to the i6 engine. If they make any mods or improvements to that v8, it will just take longer for them to release it and cost money.
I have my v8...
Voted for the i6 turbo. Lighter weight, more power. Simple folks.
V8 in a light duty is pretty much dead. Heavy duty is a different story because of how it’s used. Most light duty folks just get it for the people/truck option and don’t use the truck part (bed and towing).
Those that worry...
I’m laughing at these recalls..because the ABS one, there is no fix yet. So what’s the point of the safety recall if there is no fix.

its been a while since i posted here. i don't have compustar on my ram, but i do on my charger. thing is always prompting that i have a low battery. Ive had it for about 9 months now...even if i put the battery on the trickle charger and rechage the entire battery, it always shows a low 11.5v...
hmmm...i see on my local dealership has 2025 orders. Cheapest 2025 ram bighorn (v6 engine) they have is listed for $62k. Wow....just wow.
i guess it will sit right next to the 2024 big horn they are trying to sell as well, with rebates of $10k for under $50 that is still sitting there.
A couple of youtube channels are ripping into the price for the 2025 rams.
Base bighorn...4x4 crew cab level 1 (because you have to pick a level)..starting price is $55k and only includes the 3.6 pentastar engine. Just insane pricing.
Stellantis just doesn't understand their customers...
Not suprised by that if it was true...but that's how corporate greed comes into play and shoot themselves in the foot with pricing.
If it was closer in pricing on regular ice engine, folks will see value on it and will pay a little extra for that upgrade. If it was a 2-5% increase people would...
Interesting that there is no official ram revolution or ram ramcharger pricing.
Just want a bighorn ram rev with ram boxes…but just judging on pricing for the same i6 engine… it’s gonna be easy over $60k to START.
Not a good way to jump into the ev segment especially since they are like 3...
Messing with it now...glad the big horn has the ramboxes back. And no back country package...maybe I missed something last year.
Tried to match up as closely as to my 2022 build and with the upgraded engine it's about $5k more. That's a big deal...for a tough truck market.
2022 Ram Big Horn...
Very true. I think if it was matte black, that would stand out even more. The rebels are like that too.
Come to think if it…now I wonder how they painted that bottom half black.

Laramie is standard with led headlights, vented seats, and passenger power seats.
Other things that ram has taken away from the bighorn over the years is the rambox, and some of the fancy electronics.
Just stick with your must haves and just go from there.

I know lots of folks love that hood. I had a rebel before it, and I just didn't like it. When looking out it just blocked alot more view than I would like.
But I get it, and from outside, the sport hood looks great.

Wow...so I just checked ram website...no more back country for 2024. At least wheni tried to build one.
I need to reach out to eighty and see how many were built 2022 and 2023. I must be that special unicorn to have not only a back country, but one with ramboxes. They took that option off...
Curious to know how popular is the backcountry trim. Definitely don't see that many out there in general. I can sew ram just phasing that trim out for just the offroad package...or just get rid of the offroad trim all together.

My experience with big chain tire places is that they don't like messing with anything that isn't stock.
I took it to a mom/pop shop, or a 4wd auto shop and got mu aftermarket rims and tires installed
