I tried soft tonneau one time and hated it. Made all kinds of noise flapping. Went with a hard retractable and haven't looked back.
Hope you get the wind noise figured out. I had one little noise on mine and got it cured. Now it's awesome. Hope the same for you.
I did lose a little volume going from the 3.5s on the HK system to Infinity reference. I would not go back either but I did lose a little volume at the same setting.
Actually, I did the front first and not the rear and the rear would overpower the front. I had to adjust the fader to balance...
Gotta give some credit when it's due. I bought a set of Go Rhino RB20 Running Boards 3 mos ago. I've really liked them (grippy, sturdy, sporty). I noticed the corner of one was losing a little bit of the grippy coating. It was a spot about the size of a quarter. I emailed them to see if I...
Yes that's it! U got it. Yes the green is the power cable on my picture. If you look on the engine bay side, that big grommet actually has a small spot on the bottom of it specifically for another wire run. We believe this was for after market accessories. Only problem with it is it's too small...
Is this a new bulletin and are the spacers included? In regards to The warranty reference, does that mean warranty will pay to have the spacers put in?
Look up under the Foot well. It's way to the left and there is a whole stack of wires that run through it.
The picture shows it coming through. It's easiest to cut a slit on the engine bay side, push a stiff wire through until it hits the 2nd later of rubber, go back to the foot well side...
The Ach4 plugs in behind the head unit. It's not hard to do. Two screws on the top of the dash and pull it straight out. Unplug the connectors. You'll then see another module that looks like an amp (I don't know if that's what it is) screwed to dash. Remove the screws and behind it is where...
I didn't measure it but about a 1/3 of a bag from Michael's. I've thought about adding a second sub as well. I'm interested to hear your experience. Did you replace the other speakers as well? What system are you running?
I can't say for certain on other models, but on the HK, the 6x9s are in fact just woofers. The frequency cut off is at about 1500-2000 hz. Nothing above that goes to the 6x9. There's really no point in installing a 2way 6x9 unless of course you run it from a different amp.
I'm pretty sure the...
I like them quite a bit but have always like Infinity. Very well balanced speaker without harsh highs.
I've not heard the JLs but my guess is that they would be similar. Both use similar materials for the tweeters which is textile based vs a metal. In my experience, that tends to soften them...
