I've noticed in my 2021 multiple times that the eco light comes on both with the mds kicking in and separately by itself. With the after market exhaust you can tell immediately when it goes into mds., ( on 4 cylinders the sound is obnoxious ). You and the guy in the vid above both say...
From all the info I've looked at, it seems that the Tow/haul mode works effectively for the 6 speed trans. But not on the 5th Gen 8 speed. Maybe others can chime in on that.
I never dreamed it would be so annoying, ( especially with after market muffler ), to have the MDS kicking on and off. I've watched as many vids on YT as I could find for eliminating/disabling the MDS. It seems there is no other way than to have to keep putting Drive up to the 8th gear over...
I'm not sure what, " stock nav " means. The uconnect 8.4 with navigation was an add on for $7-800. Most of the things they list as the wow factor of sirius, I have no interest in. So I don't think the trial offer would benefit me much. Would I still be able to use a android phone with the...
I have the 8.4 Uconnect in a 2021 Bighorn. I keep getting bombarded with emails from Sirius wanting me to activate the free 6 month trial. If I don't do that or do it and then let the trial run out, how will the disconnecting of Sirius affect the Uconnect. Will I still have the radio, gps...
I just bought a Bighorn in So. Ca. Spent some time on phone and emails. My advice is to go to the low ballers first and get an otd price in writing via email, ( they wouldn't honor it ) and use their written offer and shop it amongst the more reputable ones. Imperial Valley Chrysler...
This is really one of the best threads ever. Every vehicle type forum should have a similar thread. Vehicles are huge expenditures these days and for many first time buyers, this offers so much help. Kudoos to this forum and whoever the original op was. Question---Anyone know of a link to a...
Just curious. Most keep posting 6-7% off invoice but no figures with it or pic of the invoice. It seems that invoice is approx. 8-10% off msrp and hold back is another 1 1/2-2% more off of msrp. So that at best is 12% off msrp. My 2021 Bighorn was $43,250 msrp. I paid $34,900 plus tax, lic...
Most of the reasonably priced sheepskin covers are " universal " fit and seemingly for autos and not trucks. Have any of you found a good set that fit the 5th Gen bucket seats with the adjustable head rests. Thanks
Yes it's basically the same. Right where your saw blade is and the arrow is pointing there is a small bulge in the pipe. At 1 1/4" I'd be cutting on that bulge. My concern is if that would hinder the slip on over it and possibly cause a leak. Is the above your 19 or 21? Thanks for the pics.
On your 2021, have you been under it to look at the exhaust. On mine after the weld on the muffler there is exactly 1" of straight pipe at I guess 3" diameter, then it has a slight bulge to a small increase in the pipe size. Same piece of pipe, and then goes quickly into a curve. It's not a...
I've been watching a ton of vids of after market exhausts. After the mod has been installed they have a start up for sound comparison. Nearly every one of them has some smoke and literal water running out the end of the pipes. My Cherokee has never done that. On some it seems excessive...
For the 2021 " Deluxe Bucket Seats ", do they have air bags in the side of the seats. I'm looking at seat covers and many say not for this design. Thanks
Did you install yours by yourself. If so where did you cut the pipe. Some say 1" some 1 1/4" from the weld on the muffler. If you haven't done it yet, can you take some pics or video. I just ordered the oval one and Thanks for the discount code.
