The dealer must have the computer module in order to do the programming. Where my lift was installed, they didn't have it and couldn't do it. I called around and found another dealer that did have it. The module is expensive, and from what I gathered, licensed through Mopar.
It gives them an...
I did get the speedo recalibrated yesterday for tires. Dealer charged $100 + tax. Mopar suggested price is $125 + tax. Dealer said Mopar forces them to buy "credits" to use the software to recalibrate. My guy said it's dumb but how it is but he charged me their cost, so can't complain.

Thought you all would find this funny...so I was getting on an the highway yesterday, saw no one on the highway and decided to mash the throttle on the onramp and let those American ponies gallop! Got to 75 and backed it off, highway turns slightly and there's a cop sitting right there under a...
It does sound amazing. I went with the Touring, and honestly can't imagine getting the S-Type or ATAK, for a daily driver. Cold start is awesome and can hear the exhaust very well when you hammer it!
Thanks for letting me know about the customer service. I will be calling them, as I am going to take the truck into an exhaust shop to get the tips centered. They're both about 1/2" inward and not centered in the cutout. Small detail, but drives me crazy.
Yea, I was somewhat in denial that it was that bad. It's still not centered like I would like it. May end up having a muffler shop get it where I want it. Just stinks it came out that way for the money.
Installed Borla Touring today. Got a great price on Cyber Monday, paid <$900 to my door. During install though, got to say I'm disappointed in the fitment. Exhaust flange was not flush, caused a huge headache. Also the passenger side tip hanger was WAY bent. With it fit loose and in the bushing...
I get it, I'm giving you a hard time. I'm an engineer and understand why the Mopar engineers left rake in the lifts. My brother has a DS Ram with 4" lift and I gave him endless snickers and sneers when he was nose high with a bed full of furniture.
The other thing for me is any truly leveled...
Just picked up my lift from a local dealer. For those waiting...they had x1 more -AC in stock. Just sitting there...looking lonely that I took his buddy. :D
How will the mopar lift fit with 1.5" taller spring in the rear? Will there be any impact to the sway bar links? Will you be replacing the sway bar end links? Will the mopar shocks allow for an additional 1.5" in addition to the 2" of lift from the kit (3.5" overall)?
So many questions...!
Just wanted to update this thread, ended up ordering the Mopar 2" lift last week. In the end it should meet my needs, comes in a complete package, and I was able to get great pricing on it. I will update with pics once it is here. Currently scheduled for mid-October (6-7 week order time).
Just put in my order for the Moper 2" lift...had sticker shock looking at tires. Thanks to the current circumstances, looks like all tires are $40-50 higher than they were a year ago.
Exact same reason I bought a new truck as well! I worked on x2 10+ year old cars. Hard to do with a little kid running around now.
Still haven't heard back from the dealer on whether they have received the steering column. I am going to call and check on it tomorrow.
I showed the dealer the TSB when I took mine in, service tech ignored it. Truck sat in their service lot for 2.5 days before being looked at. Technician said, yup, TSB documented the issue. Now I am waiting on a steering column, ~6 days for shipping.
