I already ordered Mopar carpet mats, I don't like rubber all-weather chipness. Hate missing the limited mats premium design, they are nicely matching to wood pattern and FCA definitely charged me premium cost for these already.
There is already another thread with new feature/technologies wish list. I'm starting a different list what is wrong with current production hoping that @RamCares could help FCA address it for new customers.
In the order how I was discovering it:
1. Limited Ivory Tri-coat color is bleached...
My RAM's "ivory" is not the same color as GC Summit's. It is bleached white with metallic.
May be @RamCares could clarify why initial batch of Ivory has wrong shade of white, is it intentional or just another failure of new plant.
I had LLumar Air 80 on previous truck windshield and already scheduled appointment for new RAM. I have to wait almost a month since tint shop has just one technician who can do windshield and sunroof job. Windshield tint makes great difference.
Since lowest and highest setting heights remain the same I suspect that this is just software setting.
I have another open confusion - according to cluster indication truck stays in Aero mode without reaching 60 mph or whatever threshold described in the manual.
I'm scratching my head how can I...
it is actually disappointing. I had GMC white tricoat and it was obvious premium color from any distance. RAM looks like white working truck for random bystander until looking at it with zoom glass knowing there is some premium to find in it.
It is not " ivory" at all, just plain white with some...
Good luck! Please don't blame FCA for transportation delays, these railroad guys are semi-government unionized junkies and FCA just cant do anything to help. It took them 2 days just offloading my truck from railcar and it was just parked in VDC lot for another 3 days until my dealer sent...
My conclusion is that ORP raised height has no practical benefits. The range is about the same, Regular Aero is missing, regular Normal is Aero with ORP, regular OR1 is Normal with ORP.
I just did measurements 3x times on each setting. Tire pressure was 39 front and 37 reat hot (cold set at 35 both)
Observations:
1. It seems like suspension sets each wheel with 1/4 inch variation each time, number below are average
2.. Shark fin height change is not exactly matching change at...
Unfortunately I have to take it back. Last night when picked my truck I saw 5 levels on the switch but when tested today cluster shows message like selected mode not allowed.
I got confused by User Guide showing picture of Rebel switch with 4 levels, the switch is the same but highest level...
I will take measurements tonight including height of shark fin antenna. One of garages where I park has height restriction of 78" and I need to know how my truck is different from official 77.5" height.
ORP build sheet states "Raised Ride Height". If someone can measure rim to fender with standard air suspension then I can take the same with OR. I don't think running board to ground is accurate comparison.
I got my Limited with Off-Road package and Air Suspension is not limited to 4 steps like Rebel's. It is the same 5-step as standard. Aero mode seems higher than standard Normal.
Regarding HUD: I actually like that it is not available in 2019 and I can put LLumar Air 80 tint film on windshield like I have in my older truck. It makes big difference under summer sun. I have HUD in my sedans and it prevents tinting since film makes HUD blurry. Another HUD disadvantage is...
I have Bedrug mat in my current truck and it is better to me than Bedrug liner. I only need it on bed floor and gate and side walls are good with open baremetal.
I suggest to clarify if this restriction is for dealer orders only or it applies to customer sold orders too. When I did my order many options were restricted for dealer orders. My dealer had to fill all my personal information to prove that it was customer order. At the same time another dealer...
