Unfortunately for me, the plot thickens. On my drive to Mass this morning, I noticed that when going around sharp corners (close to 75 degrees or more) the rear wheels are trying to turn at the same speed. This is causing one of them, I cant tell which one, to skip or scrub over the dry pavement...
Thank you @HKP7PSP for the well wishes.
I hope I do get some satisfaction soon. This just drags on and on. I now have to wait for the Chrysler engineer to come in again and drive my truck while he tries to figure out what is wrong. He's on vacation this week.
The dealer, Heritage, has been...
Just an update. I got my truck back today after 19 days (this time) in the shop.
The ring and pinion gear were charged out. The service manager told me the Chrysler engineer turned the old assembly by hand and could feel binding at one spot of the rotation.
When they opened the housing, the...
Yes,. I applied all my weight right behind the center console and in all the areas around the "hump" area on the rear floor.
In my truck I got literally zero flex. It was very rigid and solid. No noises or popping.
Now if 0nly the rest of my truck we're good..... It's going to be a long...
Just got my truck back. Tested the center rear floor where the hump would normally be.
Absolutely no flexing or popping at all. Very sturdy.
In fact I jumped up and down in that area (hunched over of course) - nothing. Very rigid. I'm 5'10", 170 lbs.
Hope this helps you.
I believe that. It's not the device. It's the Uconnect Bluetooth system.
I'm still driving the 2020 Jeep Cherokee while my Longhorn is in the shop.
Everything happens instantly on the 8.4" Uconnect system in the Cherokee.
There is some sort of slow processing or software bug in these Rams...
He's correct you have to find the sweet spot. I have an S9+ and a Note 9. I usually align the left edge up with the trailer brake slider just above the charging pad.
You'll get it!
I'm dealing with a plethora of issues with my $70,000 Longhorn. Right now the rear differential is being rebuilt. The rear brakes are being worked on and wheel bearings are being replaced. All 9f this needs to be finished before the truck can be driven to fix the other problems the truck has...
Not having any issues with A/C performance. ....at least so far. The cabin cools down rapidly and gets very cold. It's been above 90 degrees here lately and very humid. No issues.
What you stated is exactly my thought process.
I don't hate FCA. Like I said, I just got a lemon.
I love the...
Yes, that is a picture the level 3 tech took after he found the bolt in my heater box
My truck exemplifies slop assembly quality at the factory. Its got so much wrong with it, I don't ever feel it will be right.
The dealer has been great about everything. I purchased the truck from Freedom...
I'll paste an email response below from my service advisor at the dealer, when I asked for a status update on my truck today. They had it this time since last Tuesday. The door panel and console he refers to is being replaced from the last time the truck was in (damaged from dash removal)...
Oh Geez, that's really good to know! Now my big yellow lemon will be even worse! I'm probably going to have to try and get rid of this piece of ...... I am really doubting long-term reliability on it now.
I've only got 2,601 miles on the truck and it has been nothing but trouble.
After...
I know! It is quite disturbing. I could deal with it better if it were the only issue my truck would have.
Unfortunately for me, my truck is a big yellow lemon. The rear brakes are also being replaced when they rebuild the diff. ...and the list goes on. All this nonsense started with a little...
Apparently, my rear end clunk was a lot more serious than just torquing bolts to spec.
The Chrysler rep drove my truck. The dealer is now rebuilding the differential. Waiting on a second gear to arrive. The first gear arrived damaged.
Geez, when you buy a defective toaster, you can just...
