I've found one pump that works "better" than everywhere else... but it's still awful, best case scenario, I can slowly increase speed to lock it into the first notch... but that only works some of the time. Everywhere else, is just pain... especially during the winter.
So the follow up to this, was that after they didn't reply I got an email "would you like to review your service" ... hoo boy... but I was out and about, and just left a simple 1-star on google, no writeup.
They called me, and what it appears happened, was they ordered the evap cannister...
Yeah, I'm pretty close to there already, but I doubt I'll get what I owe back... which sucks. I shouldn't have to be out of pocket because Ram can't fix my truck after 18 months.
Bought a 2021 Ram a couple years ago. Few days after getting it, there's a seatbelt unbuckled warning that comes on when someone is in passenger seat (even though they're buckled), nbd, call them up, book an appt, they give me a rental, diagnose, fix it, everything is great... I'm happy with my...
Thanks, the 600lbs is probably pretty accurate. With our current smaller camper, the only stuff in the truck, is the two of us (~400lbs total) our golf clubs (~60lbs total), the hitch (~100lbs), and then there's some buffer for misc stuff.
But to be honest, I'd not want to get near that...
Anyone able to help? I've read the stuff above but I'm still a bit confused.
The max payload according to my door sticker is 1611 (vs the base 1860)
Since the vehicle weight is up ~250lbs, I'm guessing the "ideal" 11,320 (max trailer) number drops by the same amount to ~11,070?
Honestly, I'm...
You mean like this one?

It's what they told me of, when they replaced the filler neck for the second time (with the new one) on my '21
...though it's now in AGAIN... and this time they're apparently replacing the fuel pump (I don't see how that's going...
Looks like there's a Technical Service Bulletin and they have a new redesigned filler neck that should solve the issue. Going to pick up the truck in a few hours
Well, it's at the dealer now... awaiting their diagnosis... I'm guessing they do the evap canister next... then in a few weeks, I'm back. Ugh... such a pita when you don't live in the city, and they don't provide a loaner car
In the first year, any reason you need to bring your car in you...
The only part of the entire thing I want is the remote start/lock functionality. And only because the key is completely useless for remote start, as I have no clue if it started or not without being able to SEE the vehicle.
$34/mo is a ridiculous price for that.
