I agree, think they should have fitted an Eco and Sport button, this could have tweaked the throttle and the transmission change points too.
Feels like there is plenty of power but even mashing the pedal it just didn't respond as quickly as desired.
I've got one, shipped to UK it cost quite a...
Maybe your tyres could be slightly deflated and hence it chirps on as pressure increases with heat?
I'd turn off the tyre fill assistant option in the uConnect screen to stop it spuriously happening and then only turn it on when you are adjusting tyre pressures.
Glad it’s sorted. Leaves you wondering about them though, knowing they had problems it seems like they only wanted to spend time making sure it was right because you took it back.
I sometimes put mine into 4 high when pulling away from a particular junction to get traction as its always very slippery and can be a job to pull out into fast moving traffic. The Raptor used to bounce the back end really badly in 2wd, the Rebel doesn't bounce but I have had it start sliding...
I was thinking about this, I drive on the left and it will slowly run off from the crown and coast over towards the left, just like UK cars do. I'm assuming caster is set identical on each side from factory?
Thor seem the most popular over here and there are some good options, how do you find the Ford cab, I wonder if it seems odd to drive being wider bodied?
I've seen some class A coach style American Eagles which look fantastic but very expensive and usually over my weight limit so would need to...
I wondered as much about the V10, there are other choices though. I would convert (if not already) to LPG which is much cheaper than petrol and diesel. It is possible to convert diesel to lpg but not common place and could be fraught with problems.
Even large European models seem small inside...
I've been debating on and off for ages whether to get an RV so wondered if anyone could share their thoughts please?
Selection in the UK will be limited but if I have a better idea of what to look for then I can spend some time in sourcing one.
Here's what I'm thinking:
Likely class A rather...
Getting the wheel straight is pretty basic although you can forgive an odd mistake. With your other issues it doesn’t inspire confidence so I’d go elsewhere even if a bit further afield.
Sounds like they didn’t center the steering wheel properly when doing the alignment, they should correct this for you - don’t let them charge you for doing it again.
Worked out how to use the Sat Nav!!! Had tried it once before and couldn't get any address, then read the manual and had no luck. Stupid me, I'd been using the online search rather than address input and couldn't understand why it just came up with no results or some unrelated business miles...
I'd check under your seat covers regularly, depending on the cover and your environment I've found dust and grime can get under the seat cover and act as an abrasive worse than normal wear.
I think Ram missed a trick not putting eco and sport throttle settings. Get a Pedal Commander, that does the job and makes it much better in the sport modes. I was really surprised at how effective it is.
I installed my PC about a week or so ago, it will do all that you ask and I don't think you'll be disappointed. Running Sport+ +4 makes the exact opposite problem you are experiencing in that I found it just too responsive and you could easily surge forward and run in the back of something! I...
Reversing on my drive and just hit the stack of fence panels which have been there for a few days...on autopilot with total lack of attention to mirrors, camera and the screaming sensors.
Luckily looks like the bumper and exhaust hit and slid the whole top of the stack together so no damage...
Thanks for the explanation, makes sense as to why the MAX AC is pretty useless and cooling is better using AUTO or choosing my own preferred settings.
I‘m not worrying about the AC but since the rest of the truck is so good it is a bit disappointing. With our recent good weather in the high...
I’m interested in the same, I was thinking a front camera would be useful when in tight spots to get really close.
Bleepers work OK and I go closer when screaming and red, I can judge front middle one but not confident in ignoring front corner ones for too long.
Likely I’ll give up on the idea.
I’ve held onto my HSV Maloo, love it but missed a bigger truck, before that I had a Raptor. The Ram is a few years newer than my previous Ford but overall I think better, Hemi much smoother, air ride better on pavement than the Fox shocks, interior decades ahead, the list goes on :). And I...
