Man, so happy to hear / see this! Live in NoCO myself and love getting off-road. I removed the front valance and am adding the mopar lift with some bigger wildpeak tires to be able to handle a little more. Looks like even as a stock vehicle, they made it super capable. Thanks for sharing the...
@texasvolfan15 awesome...thanks. Hard to go through these threads when they get so freaking long like this. Will just see when the thing even ships.:LOL::LOL:
I found that out too about my kit...they had marketed their kit as the AC version but just got an email from them yesterday saying that it‘s the AB kit. They said that the AC is not being developed anymore until all the ABs are out of stock. I called a dealer in TX that had an AC I stock but...
Overall, pretty good. I did have an issue where mine went out at exactly 1k miles at a stoplight. That was embarrassing...brand new truck dead in an intersection. Turns out the generator went bad and had to be replaced, which took them about 3 days to figure out. Now all fixed and at 4700 miles...
Finally ordered mine! BAM wholesale parts for $1100 with shipping to my doorstep. Thought that was pretty good. Going to stick with the Wildpeaks (AT3WS) but a larger size I think on my stock wheels with spacers.
Removed the front air dam and deployable dam to get a better angle of approach. Think it looks tons better without it. There is no additional road noise or turbulence on the front end without it. We shall see!
How does the geometry (LCA and UCA) look overall with the setup and ORP? I think I might go route of the mopar lift with the UCAs and redox shocks from and back. We shall see.
@Bigdaveincali Nice job...looks great. Looking at the 5100s myself. Have to keep up is to date when you take them off-road...curious on how they do. What setting did you put them at?
@canative like your setup! Did you install the 5100s already? trying to find others with the ORP that have done this and what their experience has been.
I will double check but I believe they wired it right off the tail light. This powers the remote lock on the latch, 24" LED strip, and two USB ports in the back. I asked about a conventional plug or a cigarette plug and they said it would have to wired a little differently. I think though that...
I am not too worried about that. Came from an 03 2500 with the 5.7 and already a major step up from maybe 11 mpg. Hahahahaha! This is a fun rig for the family and myself, not a DD (camping, fishing, trips to the mts, etc). Bought it more for function than efficiency.
Thanks, Will! I am located in northern Colorado and got it from S-Cargo in Loveland. The Rebel topper alone was $2,425 without the extras and tax. These guys were awesome to deal with...true mom and pop shop, which I am happy to support during these times.
I finally had my SnugTop Rebel installed today and couldn’t be happier! Here are some from this afternoon...can snap some of the inside later. Added Rhino tracks, Thule bars, River Quiver, 24” LED strip on the inside, remote lock with key fob, vented windoors, and USB ports.
@Scjon03 At least your app worked with those features. Still have yet to get my 2020 features to work. Once I get it out of the repair shop from dying in the middle of the intersection with 1,002 miles on it, maybe they will do something magical to make mine work.
