Hi Y'all.
So I have FOX 2.5 Performance Elite installed front and rear (extended 2-3 inch version in the front).
Installed on factory settings the truck (2019 Rebel) sits nice and level with approx 1/2 rake.
However, I do need a better approach angle/clearance so I would like to lift...
Yeh same here, battery disconnected and my rear camera stop working al together. Collected from the garage at 4pm...only noticed once I got home and reversed into my home garage. Left it overnight and was working perfectly next day.
Which fox 2.5 coilovers did you get ? I think the 'standard' ones (ending in 65) do not require aftermarket UCAs. For the extended travel (ending in 66) FOX recommend an aftermarket UCA that can ultimately handle the extended travel.
I use the truck (19 Rebel) as a daily driver but it gets...
Nice!
Nice! I currently have my LP6's mounted up on the hood along with S2 sports mounted on the side. However, I need more light/power for ditch lights. Do you have the squadron pro/sport mounted on the hood? How do they preform?
Was thinking to get them or maybe the LP4's. When driving in...
I installed them as stock, no custom tuning. I purchased the extended 1" coilover for the front. The last 3 digits are 166. The rears end in 079 I believe. Just go to the Fox website and put in your truck details and the shocks/part numbers will come up.
The Ram 19-21 shocks are already...
Well the comfort at high speeds is simply mesmerising. I don't even have them on the softess setting (3 clicks in on both high and low speed compression). It just glides, kinda feels weird like you're not connected to the road in comparison to stock.
The cool factor? Yeh I'd be lying if I said...
I drove a 2008 F150 King Ranch up until 2018. Drove beautifully and never really had any issues at all. Then after about 110k miles a few $1000 repair jobs were needed, then a few more. Time for a new truck. I was all in for a new F150 in April 2019, then I visited RAM who had just realised the...
I do think it really depends on whether you need them. I kind of grew into the FOX setup through driving experience - driving more and more aggressively in the dunes as my confidence and speed increased. Also, they offer a bit of security knowing that occasionally your driving reaches trophy...
Have installed them. Wow, so good! Had Bilstein 6112s and 5160s installed. They were great but these FOX are on another level. Have yet to hit the desert yet but have been testing over large and small speed bumps and adjusting the DSC accordingly. At 70-80mph the ride is amazing.
However, I do...
Just about to install my set of FOX 2.5 Performance Elite front and rear (19 Rebel). Is there really no way you can flip the rears for easier access to the dsc? Is it a clearance issue? Was reading that the resovior has an IFP so should be no issues with regard to performance. I also noticed...
I have 19 REBEL and installed the Borla Atak. I loved the sound but at cruising speeds (1700-2000rpm) was just plain annoying. I then installed a Borla (universal) resonator in front of the muffler. It quietened it down by say 10% but was still too loud whilst cruising. I then installed a much...
I had my 19 REBEL out in the desert a few weeks back and it hit 127.4oF. I was also driving alot in 1st and 2nd gear at almost max rpms. No issues at all. Wasn't freezing cold in the cabin of course but perfectly comfortable.
Cool! What do you use for the rear?
Just checked FOX website (again) for the 19 RAM and it states I can get the 2.5's witj DSC for the rear for $1,349 or the 2.0's for $139.
Hmm...thats a $1210 saving off the bat or perhaps an extra loss of $278.
Obviously the rear 2.5s will be the...
So I installed the Bilstein 6112's and 5160s (and Total Chaos UCAs) on my 19 Rebel but am experiencing some serious bottoming out.
I ride quite aggressively and almost exclusively in the desert. Ironically, the best ground conditions our group always looks for is virgin sand were no one has...
I left in the factory resonator and added the Borla Universal resonator.
So the set up would be (from the Cat Back)
1. Factory resonator
2. Borla universal resonator
3. Borla Atak muffler.
4. 5 inch tips.
6. Pissed of neighbours.
That is exactly what I have. Stock resonator on stock pipe, added a Borla (universal) resonator to the Borla ATAK system. It does quieten the system down but only by approx. 15% as my rough estimate. It is still pretty loud but am starting to get usto it. The issue is at specific rpm's...
Well I guess take the pictures to a fabrication shop and ask to make something similar....if thats possible? I could get a second one made but the cost of shipping something this heavy long distance would not make it value for money. Which city do you live in?
