If your new screen has the buttons they will be non functional. It does not effect anything

The Jar files are what gets loaded when you do the software update. They show up at least a few times after you do an update but I can't say I've seen any since the pr39.9 update

Did you put 39.7 on a flash drive?

Same process as installing any update but I had 39.7 on a flash drive and it let me roll back

If you swap it does take quite a while for the settings to show up unless you do a hard battery reset. Even with that you should have audio. If it's a different issue where the volume knob isn't working that is different. Check if you can change the volume with the steering wheel control. If...
