This is what I put in my truck first summer I had it. No issues with it to date. I don't completely close it off, about 3/4 of the way. Don't need to use it until we get into the brunt of the summer like now. I usually leave the temp set where I want it...
I like the look and utility of the wheel to wheel style. Much easier to clean the back glass and they keep a few more rock chips at bay a little longer.
Take a look at Autogeek.com They have a full line of polishers from entry level to pro. I've found their sales staff to be knowledgable about the products they represent.
I bought a Porter Cable random orbit polisher long ago, it's till going strong, over 10 years old. Use it on 3 vehicles...
IF you are pulling a trailer often in excess of 5000lbs. Are you in extreme heat or cold conditions? How hard do you drive the truck. All things to consider. Light duty use and reasonable driving, 60K is a good number to keep in mind.
You can't hurt anything by changing the oil. You can hurt yourself if you don't. How often you change the oil depends on how hard you drive the truck, in what conditions and how well you want to maintain the truck. I'm in the change the oil camp and drive the truck within reason.
This brought back a memory and a smile for me. First time I ever drove a truck, I was 12 years old with my Grandfather out on a gravel country road. Was doing alright, 53 Chevy, 3 on the tree. Came around a banked curve with a washboard in it. Truck went sideways and I kept on the road OK...
Might be the parking brake setting itself automatically when you turn it off. You can shut that feature off in the settings, then listen to see if that stops what you are hearing
Sorry to hear of your engine shelling out on you, that would be disappointing to say the least. Sounds like the wheels are in motion to replace it.
Glad to hear you were able to sail a dead brick across 5 lanes of traffic on I80 in rush hour, unscathed except for a few dozen nerve endings...
The antenna sits a little elevated and the roof contour drains down and away over the brake light seal. My brake light leaked shortly in the 2nd year of ownership.
Another possible source would be the seam between where the cab sides meet the cab body under the black strip that covers the...
I can get behind the idea of a kill switch in the case of delinquent loan payments as a last resort. I do not like the idea of driverless cars, never have.
No not at all. I had 20" rims on my last truck, an 09 Silverado with leaf springs. My RAM rides smoother than the Silverado. You could add to the aspect ratio of the OEM tires by going to a 60 instead of the 55. I considered it, but, passed when I replaced the OEM tires. You gain an inch in...
I've always been taught that if it isn't broken, don't fix it. We took it on a two week trip last fall and it sat out in 4 really good rains, didn't leak. After reading thru the all the thoughts here I will leave it alone and follow my own teaching.
If it does leak, I can repair it as you...
Does the flowable stay somewhat soft like silicone does? The flowable makes logical sense, but will it release if the glass has to be replaced?
I have often thought of doing this, because the brake light leaked. But, it is garaged and seldom sits out in the rain needlessly.
