From previous posts, I believe that the warranty is pinned to the VIN which is on the title with your name and address so my guess is they will follow Florida law and charge MSRP. So unless you want to retitle it to a close relative in another state, have them buy the warranty and then title it...
My 19 Laramie sticker out at $61K without the Advanced safety group and e-torque options, otherwise equipt with about everything else like yours. It was in the Limited/Longhorn ballpark but I didn't want the power steps or air suspension. I'm very happy with the choice and the truck.
Good...
Before you have a tank installed, be sure to check that a large separate tank mounted in the bed carrying gasoline is allowed by the authorities in your country.
My 19 Laramie has them and they are much better than the SRA's that came on my 14. I've driven them in snow and rain here in Michigan and they do about as well as you expect from a decent tire. Usually if I'm in heavy rain or snow I go to 4-Auto and drive accordingly. I'm a "fairly" aggressive...
I don't think you made a mistake with choosing air suspension as it's been on high end vehicles like the Limited and Ford Expedition for a decade. If alignment was an issue they would have discontinued it a while back. Moral of the story, it can be set right. It will take a dealer that will get...
That Laramie will be nice inside as it's the twin to my 19 Laramie Level 2 Sport inside. I think the price is ok but if it's really the interior you are after you could buy a Laramie level 2 for a lot less without the power board's, air ride and safety group new and not need to travel to the...
At my age I'm a realist, there's a lot of complaining that one can do but because they weren't rotated and are on the rear I can see avenues for the dealer/Ram to fight any warranty that may be there. I suspect there is little at 15K miles, anyway.
My 14 came with SRA's like most 1500's did and...
For constant on power there's a 12v wire in the 7- pin trailer connector as well as brake lights if you have one. I used an adapter that fits between the 7-pin plug and harness to put power to my bed. I did change some wires around in the adapter but there's no cutting into the truck harness...
If the truck has the OEM class 4 hitch, where's the stress coming from.
Class 4 rating -
Class IV hitches used as weight carrying are rated up to 10,000 lbs. gross trailer weight (GTW) with a 1000 lbs maximum trailer tongue weight (TW). Class IV hitches used for weight distributing are rated up...
The ability to fold up leaving the bed almost totally accessible is a big deal to me. That's why I bought an Undercover Armor flex. It's worth the difference to know that I can load big items without removing the entire cover particularly when I'm away from home or a place to leave it.
YMMV
Not really if you have the Auto 4X4 setting for the transfer case. Neither my 14 Sport nor 19 Laramie 4X4 auto have anti-spin and do fine in Michigan winters. The traction control also helps on the newer trucks. Back before auto and traction control it was much more important. Not so much now...
Hard to see from the pictures but my Undercover Armorflex is much like the one they offer. You can do several hundred less than $1249 by checking the forum and on-line dealers.
You might want to take the VIN and see if FCA would sell you a Mopar extended warranty (service contract) on it. You could check through Ziegler or some of the usual suspects. It could give you extra confidence if you do decide to purchase. My last 4 cars until I bought the 19 Laramie new were...
Your dealer should help but they pull air through the seat not blow it out at you, at least my 19 Laramie does. Mine work quite well but they are moving air not cooling it unless the Limited works different.
I went from a 14 Sport with leather trimmed (cloth center section) seats to a 19 Laramie Level 2 with full leather heated/ventilated seats. I will say the 14 seemed to be a bit softer but as far as total comfort and overall height the Laramie seats fit me well. I'm 6'3" 220, 77 years old and...
My 19 Laramie 1 yr SiriusXM subscription was originally all access and with less than 3 months to go, they sent me an offer of $99 ($120 total) for one year of all access when my subscription ends. I probably wouldn't be happy with any other plan due to my listening habits so I signed up.
When...
Mine has been updating over the air, usually within a couple weeks of the updates showing up on the forum. Pandora works also as I can set channels.
The newest update was about two weeks ago.
