One thought. Have you tried the snipping tool. You can reduce the diagram until it has all the data you want. Snip it, save it to your desktop and then print in full page. That said, it sounds to me like while trying to protect their IP, they made their product almost useless..

This is not a known/common problem. Especially with both key fobs. I know it's a longshot but you might change the battery in one of the fobs to see if that helps. Maybe they had a bad batch of batteries when they put yours together. Only other thing I can think of is take it to the dealer.
