Correct, for me it took me two tries to realize that it was a waste of money for me , At least until my factory warranty runs out. Much rather invest that money in something that provides returns instead of an extended warranty that doesnt even kick in for a couple more years. Maybe when I get...
Just curious, why the rush to buy an extended warranty with a brand new truck. You’ve got 3 years of bumper to bumper factory warranty, why not just wait until it’s close to expiring before making a decision? Your extended warranty doesn’t even kick in for three years. That at least gives you...
@securityguy.. totally agree with the OEM tire concept **with the exception of Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs, that come as OEM on the Rebels. I‘ve had a set of these for over a month now and they are beyond awesome In every road condition I’ve encountered. Also nice and quiet, super aggressive...
I sold my Goodyear Wrangler Adventures with 10,000 miles on them for $300 total on FB Marketplace. There are always folks willing to buy used tires in decent shape and you can get a lot of bang for your buck on that site if you’re willing to be patient.
Same with my original Bighorn chrome...
Sticker $52,900
OTD $40,500
2019 Bighorn bought in October 2019
Same equipment/options as the OP except the 33gal tank (I have 26gal) and no eTorque (I have the regular Hemi)
Another reason I went with the Big Horn is due to its relative simplicity compared to Laramie and on upwards. I.e., the more bells, whistles, electronics... the more likely to have problems with all that stuff. Since I don’t buy extended warranties I wanted the more simpler version that has less...
@SCasey89.. Nailed it. Best bang for the buck... Precisely why I went with the Big Horn, along with price ($38,700 vs $45k minimum.) Fully loaded Big Horn but without all the Laramie features that I decided I didn’t need. In the end it’s a personal choice as to how many “Extras” do you...
Thanks gents think I’ll pass and just stick to spraying the underside at a DIY car wash after snow events, don’t think we get enough snow and road salt here to justify the expense.
Side note, the Line-X folks did an awesome job with the spray in bed liner!
Currently at Line-X getting a spray in bed liner. They are also advertising an undercoating treatment for $400... Just curious whether this is a worthwhile investment. Product used is a kind of rubberized tar that will prevent rusting long term. I live in Northern Virginia so we do get some snow...
Hiya @frostymug
I only know that along with the recal they added the 275/60/20 tire size to the VIN and now my speedometer matches exactly my phone GPS speed so it’s spot on. Good luck
Had them for around a month now, very happy with them so far...Totally changes the look of the truck. Speedo has been recalibrated as well as VIN updated with new tire size.
The regular cost is $185.
If you go the OBD route it costs $250 and up... I didn’t need all the gizmos with the OBD so to me $130 was money well spent.
+ 1 on the LEDs. On top of the awesome lighting, the truck just has a much more modern look to it with those headlight housings.
OEM chrome wheels. My bighorn came with the chrome wheels but I really, really loved the look of the OEM gray Built to Serve wheels. So I bought a brand new set of 4...
