Have you tried ANY sort of trouble shooting on your own? Turn on the blower on high and switch to dash vents? Does the smell come out of the vents? Have you checked under all your seats? Front and back?
Do you eat in your truck? Have you spilled anything in it? Coffee with cream and sugar...
I have the Mishimoto. All the components are of very high quality. The mounting location right beside the radiator makes it easy to access and dump. It's engineered to fit the RAM, so it looks and fits like it's from the factory.
On sale now too for $199...
It was snowing earlier this evening and went out for a drive. Roads are snow covered. Was able to floor it a few times from a stand still and still no vibrations.
Mine did the same thing. Had the transfer case replaced last Thursday and so far so good.
You may want to take it into your dealer and have it looked at.
Just picked mine up from the service department. Even though it's listed on my build sheet, dealer says engineering is saying it's not equipped. Not blaming my dealer, they even swapped out the latch mechanism on the tailgate to see if that would help. Basically, Ram is saying go pound sand...
Just got a call from the dealer. Replacement transfer case has arrived and I have an appointment booked for Thursday morning to get a new transfer case put in.
Wish me luck.
I don't understand all the effort to get a CD player. There are numerous free software solutions to rip CD's and USB sticks or even SSD drives are cheap. 500GB SSD could fit close to 1000 CD's in FLAC.
I still haven't heard anything back from my dealer yet. The shop foreman did mention that there was some sort of recall on the transfer cases and that is why there is no availability.
On my dealers website they have the ability to book service online. I put the VIN in and it displays the current mileage on the truck. These trucks are absolutely "phoning home" constantly.
