I completely agree. That's one of the reasons why I sent the RC kit back. Poor workmanship etc. Was very impressed with the RL kit. Complete welds, Thicker material etc.
Soo much witchcraft.. ! Lol I get what your saying and I'm sure there are various calculations that come into play as well. My next question is do you get more lift from just a preload spacer, or just a top hat spacer?
I went out and measured from the bottom of the fender lip to the center of...
I know that the UCA just help angle, and add no lift value at all.
The preload measures 1.5" and the top hat is 1 1/8" +/-. If the preload isnt installed, how does the top hat create 2" of lift by itself being half that size in thickness. There has to be some crazy voodoo going on. Lol...
Basically I'm trying to figure out which component gives the most lift. Preload or top hat spacer that come in the RL kit. Since I have to ORP, I cannot use both.
I used to run RC on a lot of trucks i had in past. Originally ordered the 3.5 RC lift. However their quality has taken a nose dive...
Hope this isnt too long winded.
2019 ORP Ram. Had a RC level kit. Bought a RC 3.5" lift and was extremely dissatisfied with the quality. Sent Back and ordered the ReadyLift 3.5".
Went off old measurements of my truck and believe I was right at 22" from center hub to fender lip.
Installed the...
Congrats on the order! For a lift like that, may have to piece one together. I believe motofab has a top mount 2.5". Get new UAC's from your choice brand. And you can find rear spacers on ebay. Those are a 1:1 lift.
I have always ran duratrac. So no help on that question.
Yes it will work, but definitely reccomend replacing the UCA's. The BJ angle is at its max and replacing them with either the mopar/readylift will put it back within spec.
The ORP can come with either. Really depends how it was set up. My ORP has the 3:21 gears. If you order, you can get...
I just noticed your avatar. Your not buying them for that ram are you? If it's a 2019, it's the classic. I believe they are 5 lug. Just dont want you to go through all the hassle and not be able to use them.
IMO it's worth it. If that price includes tires, it's a steel. I drove 4.5hr one way for mine.
I too was budgeting the same amount of money for some aftermarket. Glad I went this route, the wheels look natural on it.
Yep it was worth the drive. Lol
Yes I have the ORP with 2" RC preload spacers. After everything was settled and driven for a while, I'm about 1/2" rake. For most it's good, but to me it looks nose high. Even knowing the measurement. I have the 1" spacers, just not installed yet. Need a day off...
