Prior to 23 model hemi's called for mid-grade. Not regular. My 2023 when I had it called for Regular or mid-grade. I ran regular in it for 34000 miles I had it with no issues.
For me, that's not the point on how fast a heavy truck will run out. I bought my truck, and Chrysler has no right to put a limit on my truck without my permission. If I want to run 120 mph, I should be able too if I want to, not what someone who took my money and dictate to me what my speed...
That's the same with mine. Dealer changed oil 1700 miles, it's right on full mark with claim of 7 Quarts on the dealer fill sheet and cost. I love this truck and hate it does not have a dipstick.
I have just over 1700 miles on the H.O. with 3.92 gear Tungsten. Getting 17.9 miles to gallon average. It's still climbing on MPG as I have just done the first oil change as well
I have never bought a Truck for MPG at all, so I would take the HP and torque over the MPG. I bought a Hell cat and I never once thought about MPG!! The Chrysler 300s My wife has runs very well with the 5.7 Hemi in it does about 20 to 21 MPG most of the time if she drives it......My Hell cat...
I have the 2025 Tungsten and motor whisper quiet at start up and running with 1400 miles so far. Runs great with lots of power for a 6 banger for sure! It does have a rattle in the speaker. Its in shop today to have Subwoofer pins put in it, and it has a rattle very fine low take off..... They...
Mine is doing same thing after 1400 miles.... They did find subwoofer pins came loose, but not sure what the rattle is? They have it in shop today for new SW pins and check out the rattle too.
My truck is 2025 Tungsten and in shop today with same noise after the Sub speaker pins came loose on passenger side. Is You subwoofer rattling?[/MEDIA]
Can I stray from this thread just a little bit and ask the Tungsten owners this question? When checking Oil On the new Ram I-6 where exactly is full on the gauge? Is it at the very top where the red mark begins? Is it at where at the lowest point of red mark stops at the full mark of the gauge...
My owners manual does not explain the gauge of how to read it or illustrate a photo of the gauge explaining the marks at all. It is just simple wording the gauge will warn you as to when it needs oil changed and its based upon many factors and spends more time explaining factors as to what makes...
I ran them on a 2019 Laramie, never had any issues whatsoever. I put 60000 plus miles on the truck traded it in for a 2023 with power running boards with no issues at all with 36000 miles..... Just traded it in for a 2025 Tungsten with PRB and would not have a Ram without them. You will love...
