Right. It’s definitely not the phone. The volume controls on the phone are disabled when it’s connected to CarPlay. Like I said I’ve used the same phone on two different trucks and it only does it on my current truck. I’ve turned on and off the speed leveling feature. Makes no difference.
Mine does this too in my 19 Limited 12” screen. It never did it on my 19 Laramie 8.4” screen. Same phone. When CarPlay is on the phone cannot change volume. The controls are disabled. Any idea how the phone is changing the volume?
Right now I have a 2019 1500 Limited ORG. I have used AlfaOBD to level the front end and added DayStar spacers.
I am considering buying a 2020 1500 Limited but it does not have the ORG. I was hoping to level the new truck as I did the old one. I was considering changing the software to think...
Just bumping this. Nobody knows anything about the difference between a Off Road and non Off Road truck with air suspension? I’m trying to see if they just inflate the springs more or if there’s actual mechanical differences? Thank you.
Set ride height level is the same thing as using the switch to change the level. Except you’re doing it via computer for diagnostic, etc. purposes. It is not a permanent change.
When I did the adjustment I didn’t save my stock settings either. I just plugged in some numbers, I think 130 for the front and 70 for the rear. And then measured each wheel well and adjusted accordingly. To get it level and the height I wanted. Never could get it back to the stock height. But I...
I nave a question about the air ride suspension and the Off Road Package. I know the ORP sits an inch higher in normal mode and only has one off road setting as opposed to the Non-ORP models. I also know using AlfaOBD you can set your truck to the ORP. My question is are there any physical...
The first dealership I went to in order to have the calibration done said that all cameras on all trucks are out of alignment and told me they’re not going to do anything about it. I’ve moved on to a 2nd dealership and we’ll see what they tell me. I’ll keep y’all posted.
Before I started adjusting the airbags with AflaOBD I used adjustable links to level the front end. So I never really had the 35s on there without the level. But I’m guessing there would be hardly any clearance without a level and definitely you’d have a lot of rubbing.
I have the ORP and...
Did anyone ever find a resolution to this? I had both mirrors replaced for the same thing and the dealership has calibrated it twice and the side cameras still do not line up. They’ve now told me that this is normal and two brand new trucks on the lot had the same distortion.
Now that’s not too bad. I could live with that. Just slightly off. Mine has a significant difference. Thank you. I’m going to go back and insist it gets fixed.
Thanks. I checked out that thread. There’s a couple pictures in there that show them appearing to line up correctly. And a couple that are slightly off. I’m still kind of uncertain.
Can anybody verify if their images look like mine if there parked between two parallel lines that run the entire...
Hoping y’all can help me out. I recently bought a 2019 Limited from CarMax. Under their warranty I had both exterior mirrors replaced as the gears were stripped. After CarMax replaced the mirrors and had the RAM dealership calibrate the 360 Surround Cameras the the top down view does not align...
The taillights are a sealed unit. You cannot swap bulbs in them. You’d have to do a reverse light modification. And add additional lights. There’s several threads on the subject if you do a search.
So I finally got it working. Thank you for all your help. The problem was it wouldn’t calibrate the height sensors when I tried lowering it to anything less than a 1” over stock. 1” made it ride too rough anyway. So I reset it back to 1” over and just lowered it to Aero mode. Which lowered it...
