Ahhh OK!....interesting so it looks like Retrax has modified their seal...this is good news since you and a few others have not run into intereference (or very little) with lid opening....aporeciate it Rick!

I found the seal modification that @Eltaco posted a while ago where he removed the seals from both sides of the retraxpro rails and cut out the round section of the seal (between the red marks in this pic) along the entire length of each seal and apparently this really improved the fit and...

Hi traveller...did you receive your retraxpro mx yet? If you did and installed it, how is the fit relative to the rambox lids?

So I looked at the Gatortrax MX online today...and it looks identical in every way to the Retraxpro MX. In fact it looks like it might be the same product rebranded...not sure Anyway I had a live chat with Gator Covers and they assured me that the cover seal does not overlap the edge of the...

I know right?!!...they really should have that written in the description. That said, I still see online many users with Ramboxes saying they open fully...which confuses me. Maybe with any luck and some adjusting you can get it to work fine....please do report back once you get it...

Well....I just emailed Retrax directly and got this response 5min later...it's a shame because I really wanted this cover...oh well guess I will order my 2nd choice...the Bakflip MX4... " Good afternoon, unfortunately our covers will only allow the RAM boxes to open roughly 60%.

I just ordered a 2021 Bighorn with BUG and Rambox options (no soft tonneau). Is it safe to assume that I will receive silver bed rails? Asking because I want to order a Bakflip mx4 that requires the silver rails. Thanks!
