Wait, so the memory buttons also controls your favorite radio station? I knew about the seats (obviously), the mirrors, and the foot pedals, but I didn't realize it also tied to your favorite radio station. If so, is there any way to exclude the radio setting from it? I assume not, but...
Looks like you got a good deal. Hope it gives you years of trouble free service and remains scratch and dent free. Really like that LED light since my truck didn't come with the bed lights.
Well, here's a current thread that some of us have been posting in, but there are countless others.
For hard covers, Bakflip has a nice line, and I've had several of theirs. I personally use the G2 because because I don't need the load bearing strength that you want. However, they also have...
Looks very nice. Did it come with the built in lights and the saddle bag? The Bakflip doesn't have either of those, but I got it for $850 so $139 less than the Ultra Flex. Is the aluminum finish prone to showing scratches or dents? I love the looks but that would be my biggest fear.
Sometimes when I have the radio on, whether SiriusXM or FM, if I push either of the seat memory buttons on the door, the radio station will change. Not every time, but some of the time. I have NO idea how they could be related, but I tried it a couple of times today and it definitely did it...
Still a LOT of that around. Lots of coal-fired power plants around us, like maybe the heaviest concentration in a 100 mile radius in the world. (cough, cough...)
I have almost the exact same setup, but I haven't gotten the Weathertech tailgate cover yet. I'm gonna...just haven't gotten around to it yet. Also my Bakflip is the G2 without the Mopar badge or t-handle, but the G2 looks almost identical to the F1, though the F1 is heavier duty. I also have...
Oak...good for the homeowner, bad for the remodeler, lol. I think the Toyota plant opened in May-1996. I didn't live in this area at the time, only since 2003. But I sure know a LOT of people who work there now.
For me, so far, the #1 thing is the lower than expected fuel economy. Hoping it improves as it gets broken in...I'm only at about 500 miles so far. But even if it doesn't, it's a truck after all. I love it and plan to keep for a while.
It's very early, but so far I agree with you. The Surf City has a bit more "pop" without being too wet or shiny. Curious to see how they look after driving in rain and washing them off again.
SIAP but didn't see it. It's a bit of a long read, moving backwards in time from the latest 30,000 mile write-up to 20,000 mile, 10,000 mile, Introduction, and various other sections of interest. I thoroughly enjoyed it...maybe you will, too.
Our Ram 1500 Shines as a Luxurious, Go-Anywhere...
Here are the contenders. Why these?
Jay Leno, because of good online reviews, and because I practically stole it from our local Pep Boys, which is closing, so everything was marked way down. I think I got it for like $3.
Surf City Garage, also because of good online reviews, and because I got...
From OP's comments, it sounds like this particular dealer service department doesn't give two shytes about reviews and surveys. And if they are that bad, AND if FCA hasn't or isn't doing anything about it, they probably have no incentive to change, as long as they're making money. I find that...
Well said. The first two paragraphs are my thoughts exactly. The story about your dad is amusing in a good way. I could see my late father (RIP, dad) doing exactly the same thing as he was a died in the wool, true blue, Ford man through and through. I guess that's where I got my Ford-ness...
While I completely agree, I'm trying to get a feel for what we think the "Market" perception is. I feel (maybe incorrectly) that old perceptions die hard and the buying public still sees Ram as "Dodge" and inferior. I think most of us think differently. Of course, "the market" speaks with its...
