Does the crack go all the way into the window track or is it just on the outside trim? If it goes into the track I could see how it could still leak through (it would be bypassing the sealant at that point) but I'm not sure what the windows look like under the cracked trim piece (how the moving...
Does that actually fix it (new part number) or are they just putting the same window back in (which will crack again)?
Also, is there a TSB or anything for this yet? You would think with so many reports that they would have it documented by now.
That's just a lazy dealer. They could open a star case and have an engineer come test your truck using the method you described but it sounds like they don't feel like it. I'd try another dealer if you have one available.
2019 Ram 1500 Limited (fully loaded minus split tailgate/ram boxes)
MSRP: $69,850
Negotiated: $55,500
20.5% off MSRP
Most of the dealerships I spoke to in December were offering similar deals. You could get around 20% off MSRP with 0% 60m financing, or around 22% off MSRP with normal financing...
My 2015 Chrysler 200 does this, but the 2019 Ram 1500 doesn't. They're both using the newer Uconnect software so I'm not sure what the deal is. Just an oversight I assume.
Makes me wonder if the noise is coming from the metal pinch seam under the driver side door sill. It's the same area that multiple people have reported water ingress from so it's obviously not sealed well. The best solution would be to seal it from the outside rather than inside though (maybe...
I wanted the Rambox and actually had the chance to get a 2019 with them but ended up passing (they were already warping, brand new in the dealer lot). It's really a shame that one of the most unique features of the truck has such a negative attached to it (other than losing a bit of truck bed...
I don't feel anything on my new 2019 yet (only 300 miles on it). Oddly enough the dealer did mention something like "if you feel any vibrations it's just flat spots on the tires that will go away once you get going" even though I didn't say anything. Makes me think the issue common. Guess I'll...
Searching the Mopar website, I see two possible "hard folding tonneau covers" that supposedly fit the 2019 Ram 1500 5.7' bed.

I thought I saw in the past that people thought it was the air suspension constantly trying to level itself while parked (or something to that effect) that was killing the battery?
If I end up getting Ramboxes and they start warping I'll just get a body shop to rig something custom. It shouldn't be hard to either put a stiff plate inside the lid or fabricate a new shell out of metal (although it obviously isn't free/cheap either, and an expense no one should have to pay).
Your manual tells you the recommended service intervals. The dealer will tell you to change it more often because that's more money in their pocket. The oil gauge is just a general estimate to my knowledge (doesn't reflect the recommended service interval).
Basically manual > oil gauge >...
Why not both? It's not hard to add an extra line.
MSRP:
Paid:
Resale:
Although I somewhat agree with the OP. I want to know how much a specific build/configuration is reselling for (which can be easily represented by MSRP). I don't care as much about what you paid for it. The only other way to...
I don't see this getting fixed. They tried switching to a cheaper material (plastic) and are obviously paying the price for it. The Ramboxes will need to be redesigned with a more heat/weather resistant plastic or with standard body panel metal (aluminum). I doubt the redesign would be a simple...
The problem with this thread is you're admitting that you signed documents that you didn't fully read/understand. Then you take the word of someone (dealership) who does not have your best interest in mind when they say you'll be penalized for paying off early.
Either read through the documents...
