I had the whole front end wrapped in Xpel as soon as I bought the truck. I still have a couple of paint chips on the bumper....rock tore through the film and chipped the paint anyway. A little disappointed. If I get any more, I'm putting on the chrome bumper. I knew better than to get a...
I have the AD kit and still have 2" of rake. I can see at least one black spacer ring under the spring perch but I don't know if there's just the one or if there's two. I asked my idiot installer the next day and he said he couldn't remember.
Anyway, I'm taking the rear lift components back...
Stop driving immediately - that's a blow-out waiting to happen. Turn the wheels lock to lock and look under there to see what is rubbing so you can plan corrective action accordingly.
For the window tint discussion...
If you ever find yourself getting a ticket for window tint....don't sweat it. Just go to court and ask the judge why police cars have tinted windows. Every single time, he/she will tell you it is for the officer's safety. Bingo. Case dismissed. Every...
Thanks. It drives better than stock....I can take bumps at speed comfortably....I can attribute this to the Fox shocks and more rubber between me and the road now.
Well, I went ahead and got the tires I wanted today at least. Now I just need to decide if I want to install the ORP front springs I have sitting in my garage or remove the spring spacers in the back to drop it back down to near level. Or, look for a 1" spring spacers instead?
@cervelo15
So you installed the Mopar kit components but only up front? You left the rear completely stock?
That may be the easiest route to take then...I can take the rear spring spacers out myself in my garage. Did you use the included rear Fox shocks? I'm not sure if they'll work with...
I crawled under the truck again and looked....I can see some clear tape (or shrink wrap) up under the spring perch....does this mean there is a ring spacer in there?
Can someone with the AD kit please measure the distance between the bottom of the spring perch and the bottom of the shock body...
I just can't see any way that Mopar "fixed" this kit to be more level....how bad was it before if this is the fix?!?!
The rake was nowhere near this pronounced when stock....the lift made it worse (or at least made it LOOK worse).
I'm wondering if I got an "AD" kit but somehow the old...
Stock Bridgestones on it....deciding which size Ridge Grapplers I want between 275/65, 285/65, or 295/65...
Regardless, the rake will be the same. I don't like it at all.
I had the newest kit (#77072424AD) installed yesterday. I am not too happy with the amount of rake. I thought the newer kits addressed this issue? I have exactly 2" of rake from front to back. I asked the dealership tech if he installed any spacers under the spring perch and he said the kit...
I've read until I'm blue in the face and I've found a few guys running this tire with the 2" Mopar lift, but they all seem to have also installed the ORP front springs. So, will 35x11.50R20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers fit a non-ORP 4x4 truck with the 2" Mopar lift WITHOUT the swapped-in ORP front...
@Jimmy07
The offroad and performance pages are showing up fine in the cluster. Am I supposed to see mirroring pages on the Uconnect 12" screen, because I am not. Is there another setting to enable that or maybe I need to check for a software update?
