They did try to increase the pressure of the clutches ( I am sure someone will be along to tell me I used the wrong term) since the 4th gen 4wd auto caused so many complaints.
And, onto the complaint that it is binding in turns.
My guess would be that is what you experienced. If you are sure...
Going up to that size tire should be fine.
Tire shops are odd sometimes...you know... frivolous lawsuits from people who get what they want and then if something happens...bam... someone's fault not theirs
Randomly pushing 4x4 low is gonna cause you issues.
From what you said, I can not be sure you know. So just for information I will mention
You must be in transmission neutral to engage 4x4 low.
The whole light thing is something I rarely pay attention too.
All of my 4x4 trucks have had a...
I would say, since you admit you never owned a 4wd vehicle before, it is the normal noises of having power to your front wheels via a locked transfer case.

I can not justify the buy in on a new truck at this point. Sure am not going to get one if they...
Went for some dirt road therapy this weekend.
Tried out a new app for hunting/outdoorsman and compared it to my other map app.
We also scouted for deer season and, although my phone sucks for pictures, found a big ole boy lurking just down the road from the game lands.
Really liking the new...
The BLDS requires a change in everything you ever knew about getting through the slippy stuff.
The to the floor board approach will not work at all. As you have heard, it will cut power.
The lift and blip the throttle approach will not work. Just as BLDS is about to work, you lift and it has...
BLDS Has been standard on all RAM Trucks since 2009
A better set of tires is more important than any of the other doo dads.
The dang 4wd auto is going to cause you more issues than an open diff anyways.
Driver skill can compensate for all situations except ice. Ice will bite everyone, except...
