If you get used to locking the door via the inside button as you exit, it's a little more convenient than reaching up to hit the button on the outside handle. As long as you have all the antennas installed, fobik safe will warn you if you accidentally leave a fob inside the truck.
If you have FCW with advanced brake assist, then you have the dasm in your truck already, which should also control your auto high beams. The rain sensing wipers are controlled by the small sensor that’s off to the side of the dasm. The HCU seems to be the same on all the 2021 trucks I’ve looked...
Perhaps you just got a bad set, it happens. Mine went in pretty easy and lined up as well as I’d expect. Several thousand miles with them now in all kinds of weather and they’ve been holding up great.

Should have the new ABS module sometime next week. As long as it’s just plug and play we should know more then. From the looks of it there shouldn’t be any messing with brake fluid or anything by just removing and swapping it. Guessing I’ll have to run through the initialization and calibration...
These are the ones I went with. Put them on in early January and they’ve been to CO in the snow as well as several storms here in KS, plus I’ve rotated the tires once since getting them. So far they seem to be holding up just fine. I just make sure the key is on correctly before I hit them with...
Yours looks a little different than mine. I don’t have a box on the line with the one you have, and have an additional line below. @Jimmy07 any thoughts on the difference?

No go on the pedestrian system reacting. Had someone come in perpendicular to my path of travel several times and got no response even with them coming within less than a foot from my expected path before they stopped.

Setting showed up after a couple more ignition cycles this morning, and was able to select it which turned off the light. Haven't had a chance to test it out yet though. Is its only setting either warning+braking or off? Seems like there would be a warning only option like with the FCW system.
Looks good. Check out the gorilla lugs. They’ve got kind of a satin/matte finish that looks great against the factory painted wheels. Plus each one is a “lock”.

Soft key hasn’t shown up yet so I’ll let it sit overnight. The FCW off icon popped up and message said wipe front sensor, then went away with the light remaining. But FCW still shows active in Uconnect. I’ll see if the light stays on in the morning. Guessing the soft key should show up under...
Any way to know if it would be successfully working without jumping a curb or enticing someone to walk out into my path of travel?
I’ll make the changes here in a few and see if any lights or anything pop up.

I’m hopeful this will get it working. I enjoy tinkering with stuff and learning how it all works, so hopefully in about a week I’ll have a definitive answer and can find something else to mess with. Even the parts guy was curious why I was asking him to look up all this stuff, but he was more...
Unless there is something somewhere else that’s different I don’t see what else it can be at this point. I’m pretty sure there is only one dasm regardless of the rest of the features. It was working minus actively braking on the highway for a bit, but as Jimmy07 pointed out, once the truck...
Confirmed on a 21 Laramie with the complete advanced safety group that the HCU on the truck has the same part number as mine. According to Star Parts that truck utilizes 68436462AJ for the ABS module whereas my truck has 68436461AI. I ordered the one that’s on the other truck and I guess we’ll...
This is the issue with the 21's, there just isn't any hard data on part numbers on them. I still plan on going to the dealer and having them look up the part numbers utilizing the VIN of my truck and comparing it to a Laramie on the lot with the advanced safety group. If they come back...
I believe he is just wanting to replace the handles to match the front when adding the PE. The BTS trucks come with the matte black handles, which are not available with PE, so to get all the handles to match, you need to replace them all with a color of your choosing.
I'm still working on...
Back door handles are simple and can be done without removing the door panels. For the back doors, you will need the passenger side non-passive entry caps in whatever color you choose since there is no keyhole in them.
