I too have one and have noted similar results when draining. I was talking to another RAM owner and he said big deal so you prevented 4 ounces of oil from mixing with the gas. What difference would it make if you poured the 4 ounces directly into the fuel tank anyway. Its just gonna burn. I said...
This just goes to show how much opinions vary. I love camper shells/caps and have had one on virtually every truck I have owned including my current 2019 Longhorn. But I do not like the looks of those. The function may be fantastic and I admit I didn't look up what makes them special, but on...
The shell is an ARE CX Revo. Leer is very good too so I cant claim this one is any better than Leers I have had in the past, but I do like the bowed glass so I dont have the big plastic flap on the bottom of the glass to cover the tailgate. Otherwise both are great toppers
I have been worried about summer as I keep hearing about the poor AC performance but I live in the south and its plenty hot already here and my AC is cold. I haven't measured it but its plenty cold for me and passengers. Also my rear window has a shadow line for the crack at 6000 miles but no...
I did mine myself with CarPro Quartz and topped with Gliss. I know for sure it won't last 5 years more like 2 but it cost me about $120 in chemicals and I did all the labor myself as I already had buffers and pads and polish to do correction. It was new so it didn't really need any correction...
I changed mine myself and yes it was tough to break the seal on the factory oil filter but it wasn't anything crazy. I did mine at 1000 more or so and installed a Fumoto valve. If you wanna save yourself spillage put a plastic baggie around the old filter as you loosen it and the bag will catch...
I have a June 19 Build Date Torque with 4wd 3.92 and 4 door. I can easily get 20 mpg on interstate at the speed limit and 18-19 mpg in mixed driving. I have only 3500 miles so far but no problems on mine yet
I am always surprised to hear people say they don't like the sound. I am a bit of an audiophile with a very expensive home system and am very happy with the setup in my Longhorn.
I have another car as my daily driver and after getting the Ram 1500 Longhorn I have only been driving it on nice weather days. 6 months later I only have 3100 miles so I finally quit that nonsense and drove it. Now I can see the crazy water beading of the CarPro Quartz Ceramic coating I put on.
