I grew up in small family construction so "torqued to spec" was non existent. One of our foremans used to say "whether its torqued to spec or cross threaded, tight is tight" hahaha!!!
so i install anything i just give it a few extra ugga duggas on the impact after it stops spinning and call it good
Must have been a Friday afternoon build...
Joking aside thats the 1st ive heard about on this forum, and being 1st on a forum where people come to get help with problems in pretty rare.....
I would consider it a 1 off kinda thing. Dealer should take care of you pretty good care of you. If you...
if it’s only while driving I would guess it’s a bad ground and it’s wiggling around while driving.
since you ordered a wiring harness that should solve your Problem because all you gotta do is just wire to power and ground.
Turning on and off sounds like a bad ground. Does it only happen while driving or does it happen while parked?
How big/how many watts is your light bar? Could be drawing too much current from the fog light circuit but I would have thought it would just blow the fuse.
I did something similar to this, basically i was able to put 10" 400w jl audio powered sub behind the driver side rear seat.
Made a huge difference, can actually hear and feel the bass as max volume.
Since you have e-torque there will be less room behind the back seats. You can just stick it...
Got 14.5k miles on my ecodiesel it’s almost 6 months old
The mileage is nice but getting 29+ mpg requires patience because you can’t really go faster than 65. I guess you could say I drive rougher. I average 22 mpg and that’s going 75-85 on the highway usually. But if you hang out in the slow...
I suggest using apple carplay or android auto, Ive never been in a car where the stock radio voice features actually work how you want them to.
But my apple carplay works perfect, making calls, sending texts, changing songs, requesting songs, navigations all works perfect through apple...
I only got front ORP springs, which i got from a dealer. But Im not sure the part# for the rear.
If you call a dealer they should be able to lookup a trucks vin with ORP and get the part#s from that.
Not 100% sure but I would assume you would just need 0-2” longer rear shocks. You might be stretching them with 1.5” lift. But I you could try it and let us know? And I’ve never used either coils so I can’t say how either on them are.
thank you! slowly getting it where i want it to be, once i wear out these tires ill get new wheels and 35" tires
then after that im thinking of getting the westin automotive outlaw front bumper. My last truck had a tube steel bumper and i really liked it.
The rear bilsteins are a shock only, but you can buy coil spacers to raise the truck up 1" in the rear, its pretty easy.
Another option is the icon coils which raise the rear up 1.5" so you wont need any spacers.
So basically as the title says.
Just installed my mopar 2” with ORP Front coils
Also have airlift 5000 air bags and hellwig sway bar
Had to weld the air bag bracket to the bump stop extension
Total install time was about about 6 hours on a lift with a friend doing a little bit a helping and a...
heres the write up, has everything i did.
I have the reclining seats and i had to move them 2 notches to get the seat to latch in the back,
If you dont have them you probably just need to make the box either a shorter or skinnier...
considering they just hit lots in November 2019 there isn't anyone out there with that much mileage. I usually drive 20-30k/year in southern California. I just got mine in December and I'm at 11,600 miles now and it has been good to me, no drive train issues. Only thing i had to go to the dealer...
So I was ordering the mopar lift kit and realized it says it is only for the 5.7 hemi. Can any confirm that it also fits the ecodiesel? Not sure why the suspension would be different.
I have a longhorn non ORP truck
