    Updated 2" Mopar Lift/Level Kit - Discussion

You know, there is something to what you said about a leveled truck looking nose high. I noticed that the day I picked it up. I rushed to a level parking lot to take pictures and noticed the front visually looked a smidge high. But I measured after a short period of time in my garage and the...

Ways to achieve 1" ORG type lift

Just my two cents, but the Bilstein route seems the most flexible. With the ORG, it’s a fixed 1”. But with the Bilsteins, you can dial in the shorter amount of lift for now, and if you wanted to go higher in the future, its already built in.

    Updated 2" Mopar Lift/Level Kit - Discussion

Love them….not gonna lie, you know they are there, it feels firmer but more planted. But in a good way. I’m going to go as far to make a bold statement and say they are a plusher ride. I’m still playing with tire pressure and want to do a more thorough chalk test on the tires to make sure...

    Updated 2" Mopar Lift/Level Kit - Discussion

Ha yeah, and having the truck level far outweighed retaining rake. Every Time I walked out to the garage admire my truck, the rake bothered me. That’s my OCD acting out. Only thing I haul is bikes, or luggage when traveling. I don’t tow (yet), but figure I may as well pony up and put some...

    Updated 2" Mopar Lift/Level Kit - Discussion

Yep, I agree. Once the install was underway, I felt misled by some of the posts saying there was no rake with this kit. I think earlier iterations of the kit, the rake was real ugly and a TSB was supposed to address the enormous rake by installing a spacer somewhere near the front strut spring...

    Updated 2" Mopar Lift/Level Kit - Discussion

I would be very interested to hear if the rake was eliminated. Because when mine was installed, putting the rear spacers on would have raised the rear to retain the rake. The way my truck sits now without the rear spacers it’s dead level (maybe an 1/8” difference from front to back). Thats...

    Updated 2" Mopar Lift/Level Kit - Discussion

Have the Fox shocks from the Mopar kit. HUGE improvement over stock. Stock was a nice ride, one of the best ones I’ve had in a truck. The Fox shocks took it to a whole new level. Much more firmer ride and the truck handles better. The Fox shocks rebound better where I felt the stock shocks...

    Which tires to go with

You are correct, there is no such thing as a Mopar 2” level, only a full 2” Mopar lift kit. I have the Mopar 2” kit P/N 77072424AC. I think I saw there is an updated kit of recent, P/N 77072424AD. I say this was a ‘level’ install for me because if you install all the parts from the Mopar kit...

    New BF Goodrich KO2

Ha sorry for the confusion….yes, the road bike tires have ridiculous high PSI…but the same principle carries over to the truck tires: you shouldn’t be running the max PSI and need to work out whats the best for comfort, safety, etc. Ive been running 39.5 psi in the KO2s and that seems to be the...

    New BF Goodrich KO2

I just drove 95 and Route 1 yesterday and I noticed for the most part, it was a firmer, tighter more-planted ride. IMHO, thats smooth and comfortable to me. I'm coming from the road bike world where I appreciate a tighter, firmer ride. I think its a much more planted ride than factory. I...

    34's vs 35's

No, actually the opposite, you can use those 20x9. The 11.5 or 12.5 in the 35x sizes I stated above are tire widths. If you check the tire manufacturers website, under the specs for the tire, it should list the rim width range. Normally tires in this range can fit rims with widths between...

    No shine tire dressing?

Thanks @SD Rebel! I think the strategy I am going to take here is clean the dash real good first, then apply 303 as a layer of protectant. All I have been doing so far is wiping it down with a cleaner or damp cloth. I think it's a 2-step process, clean then protect. I also have Optimum Power...

    No shine tire dressing?

So bumping this thread, and apologize for hijacking but my searches for 303 protectant brought me here. I'm focusing more on the matte sheen and its use for interior dashboard cleaning/protectant. Needless to say, I'm obsessed with keeping every speck of dust off my dash. But to no avail...

#1 Rated Ceramic Coating - Black Friday Sale!

Have this on my Cervelo bike frame….was a good test canvas, but really repels sweat, spit, monsoons on bike rack and anything I can throw at it when riding local roads. I applied it in the spring of 2020 and its still holding up after all of that and cleans up easy.
